Customer service was great. However, the sandwiches were sad. Spent $18.50 for egg on only half the bagel and a comically thin layer of cream cheese. Usually sandwiches are better, but this missed the mark. Brought back for a refund without a problem.

I’m from New Jersey and I thought we had the best bagels. These were the best bagels I’ve ever had. The coffee was amazing as well!

It took well over 20 minutes of wait time for my order (1 bagel with spread). When my bagel finally came out of the oven, it fell on the floor and the employee picked it up and placed it in the takeout container. The employee stated it fell on the floor “on the paper” but, I kindly asked for a refund (which was a hassle to them). Never again!

Stopped in for breakfast on Sunday & liked it so much, came back on Monday! Staff were friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. If you like spicy, try the hot sauce! Spoke with two managers who were so nice & down to earth. We will be back the next time we’re in Philly (unless you open up a location in Pittsburgh *hint hint*)

Just started school down the street and I was excited to try! I ordered online - through the spread website (which was indicated as the preferred online order method). I was promised my 1 bagel order by 11:20 and I ran to the store in my brief break between class sessions and arrived shortly after the time I was told my order would be ready. It took the employees about 10 minutes to acknowledge my presence (it was not very busy) (at this point, I was already late) and I was told “we’re still working on it, just a few minutes” before turning around and telling someone to START my order. I did not get my bagel until 11:55 (35 minutes after promised) and completely missed my class. I will not be returning.

I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with what happened today.

I placed an order through Uber Eats and came all the way to the store to pick it up, only to be told they ran out of bagels and couldn’t make my order. That was frustrating, but what really made me angry was what happened next — they still marked the order as “completed”, even after I had already asked them in person about my order and was told it couldn’t be made.

Because of that one careless action — clicking “order completed” — I received nothing, yet the system showed that I got my food. As a result, Uber Eats refused to refund me, saying the delivery “matched” the order.

This whole mess started because of the store’s decision to complete an order they didn’t fulfill. Now I’m stuck wasting time and energy trying to fight for a refund, when it should’ve never happened in the first place. If they had handled this responsibly, none of this would have happened.

I used to like their bagels, but after this experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this place. Terrible service, zero accountability.

I e been ordering from this location for years. Never had problem. You must be specific (add butter etc) Bagels are always fresh out of the brick oven. Not too dense and heavy like some other places

This placeis popular for its variety of oven baked bagels. We often buy bagels here when coming into town. Bagels taste pretty good. Our order this time are the Classic and the Oven Baked Tuna Melt. Both taste fine. But the price (for bagels and coffee/tea) here is on the higher end compared to other bagel shops. There is usually a long line waiting to order and pick up. So plan on wait for about 20-30 to get your orders fulfilled.

Delicious gluten-free bagels but pricey. 2 bagels with cream cheese = $15

Dietary restrictions: Has delicious gluten-free bagels but they are not made in store
