Best bagel sandwich I ever eaten! I had the brisket sandwich and the bagel was so soft and pillowy and the brisket melted in my mouth. Shoutout to the manager for being so nice, and yes you will be seeing me again.

I find that this location can be really hit or miss. I've had some really great sandwiches here, I've also had some very mediocre ones too. They can get extremely busy in the mornings and waits can get long, sometimes prolonged by completely missing your order. I love ordering the Frittata Scramble sandwich (egg, bacon, smoked cheddar, tomatoes, and strawberry jam-- sooo yummy) but sometimes they just kind of completely screw up the sandwich with the eggs falling off one side and nothing on the other. The food here CAN be good, but quality noticeably decreases when they're busy.
Coffee here is always amazing. Sea salt caramel and pistachio lattes are soooo good. Never a complaint there. The rosemary bagel is also perfect and my favorite to get. Overall good spot for a bagel/coffee/breakfast sandwich, but maybe avoid when it's already busy.

I placed an online takeout order for a sausage, egg, & cheese with bacon. When I got home, I noticed they forgot to include bacon on the sandwich. I tried calling a few times to let them know, but no one answers the phone. I had heard good things about Spread so I wanted to give them a try, but that ruined the experience for me.
Amazing bagels (especially rosemary olive oil), but profoundly slow service. I’ve waited over 10 min for a bagel with only 2 people in line.
Constantly blocking the bike locks with their tables that they could definitely move 2 feet to the left or right.
Love love love my first Montreal- Style sesame bagel at Spread!!!!Being married to a New Yorker , I learned to instantly freeze any extra New York Bagels to take home to Virginia- but Philly, you have opened my eyes to the amazing taste of Montreal bagels at Spread’s Bagelry!!! Thank goodness my sons live in Philly so we will be back with freezer bags!!
Cozy and warm atmosphere and the managers and staff were so very kind.

They have a variety of bagels. They’re all very good. I would eat a bagel everyday if I could but I cannot. I really recommend a plain bagel or a bagel with egg cheese and salt and pepper. Not a lot of bagel spots in the city but this one is the best.

Yeah no. Don’t.
I firmly believe that as this chain grew, it was most likely much higher in quality and in turn, much higher in investment. Now, not so much. My last couple of visits here have been disappointing on several levels. The last breakfast sandwich I got made me sick, and my experience made it clear that no one within there really cares anymore.

Incredible bagels. I don't care if these are 'original' bagels or whatever... all I know is they're one of the things I miss most about Philly, their bagels are just incredible. Saturday mornings at Spread were a whole vibe: the fire in the oven, the amazing smell, and people chatting while waiting for their fresh bagels. Great spot.

I didn’t enjoy this spot for a couple reasons. Overpriced, mediocre quality and minimal effort service. I gave it shot because the reviews but disappointed overall. The bagels taste similar to a roll, no chew or pull to the outer layer. I asked for my bagel to be toasted the employee responded with they already come out hot - the bagel wasn’t even warm when I got it because they leave the front door wide open! It was 20degrees outside and freezing inside so I asked the employee if they keep the door open during the winter all the time and he replied yes it helps with steam. We got our food and left with the intention of not coming back after tasting the food our intention was reassured.
