My husband and his roommate really enjoyed their big cheesesteak, and I did not eat my salad yet, and the French fries were good. The hospitality was good, too. Go and check them out. The owner is a really nice guy.

I consider myself somewhat of a sandwich connoisseur and this place surpassed my expectations by a mile. The bread, I would literally donate a kidney to have access to the sorcery in which they obtain these heavenly loaves. If you are around Union Transfer to see a show and need a bite, look no further. Pic is the marinated chicken Italiano.

This is one of the best places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has great tasting food with a large menu, and a classic diner atmosphere. The owner, Louie, is so personable and makes you feel like family. His staff is a reflection of him with great service! The breakfast sandwich on a long roll was fire!

I ordered blueberry pancakes no blueberries were in them. The veggie omelette was hard and so were the pancakes. The breakfast sausage was U.N. cooked I had to put them in the microwave. You can tell when a restaurant switch hands or cooks. I was very unsatisfied.

A hidden gem I just stumbled upon. As others have said, family owned since '89, and it shows. The owners truly care, create a welcoming environment, and the food is awesome. chicken ceasar salad today, pizza after the next gym day when I've actually earned it... Thanks guys!

I've now been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Spring Garden Pizza is like stepping back in time. The owner truly cares about his restaurant, his employees, and his customers. He's one of the nicest men I've ever met in my life. This is a family owned restaurant that takes care of its customers. Everything is extremely reasonably priced. They aren't gouging their customers.Maybe unexpectedly but the breakfast is the real star here for me. You might ask yourself why would I get breakfast at a pizza place? And the only answer I have for that is, you just have to try it. They aren't trying to do too much. I'm a firm believer that breakfast should err on the side of simplicity and Spring Garden is of the same mindset. It may not be as Instagramable as some of the "fancier" breakfast places in the area or throughout the city, but you'll be too busy eating it to care about taking a picture. I would put my money on Spring Garden's breakfast over nearly any other in the city. Let your camera eat second at Spring Garden.Kid-friendliness: It's a pizza place that has a ton of options that kids would love.

Went with family of 4 (including 2 toddlers) for breakfast. We shared the spring garden special breakfast and the omelette each with sides that came with the meal and had coffee. Everyone was full and we had leftovers for a total of $23. The server was very attentive and the food was delicious. If we're ever in the area we will be back again for breakfast, or will try the pizza for lunch.
