A little holiday gathering with my friends...Lovely environment, very welcoming. They had room to seat us earlier than our reservation. We had light fare - soup and cornbread with honey butter was delicious and beautiful. Cindy took very good care of us and kept all of us well hydrated with Mimosas.

Food was okay. Pancakes were thick but bland. Turkey bacon and chicken sausage were good. The fruit was okay, strawberries and melons weren't fresh but not bad. Service was great! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall good experience.

We did Sunday brunch. Drinks and food were excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The Square Burger was exactly what I needed! The vibe is laid back and the room is pleasant. You may think it's strange but I really loved the mid-height 'high tops' we were seated at - you're not sitting all the way down and you're not all the way up like a traditional high top. Very comfy! Looking forward to another visit!

We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Thr staff made sure we had rverything we needed. I ordered an american breakfast with navon which was extra crispy as requested and the breakfast potatoes were crispy and well seasoned and cubed. My companion had an avocado toast which she enjoyed immensely

We went on a Sunday morning for a 10:30a reservation. The food was good, but the service was slow. After reading other reviews, this seems to be the norm. The hostess was bubbly, and I'm not counting another visit out.

We ate here 3 times while staying at the Kimpton Palomar — enjoyed 2 breakfasts and a dinner. Recommend the clam chowder, avocado toast and yoghurt super bowl. Service was good as well.

I can’t say enough great things about the team at Square 1682! Francesca was the first person I spoke to when making my reservation, and she was absolutely incredible. Her kindness, positivity, and energy made the whole planning process such a joy. She helped me set up a birthday surprise and I truly wish she could’ve been there to see it through! Raya, our server, was so friendly and thoughtful throughout the evening. She made sure we had everything we needed and created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the table. Edgar greeted me with the best energy—so kind and genuine. His warmth right at the door set the perfect tone for the entire night. Gerald, the manager, was also so kind and generous. He went out of his way to make sure everything felt special and taken care of, which I deeply appreciated. Each of them brought something wonderful to the experience, and together they made the night truly memorable. Thank you all so much and I’ll definitely be back!
