I have been ordering from you for the last 2 years, unfortunately since you renovated and changed your menu I’m noticing that your food is getting just less memorable and more expensive. I just ordered 2 wonton soups and 1 pork rice and paid $50 total! The soup broth was dark and it has about 1/4 of content with wontons. You took the joy of that beautiful clear broth and light wontons on it. Also, you are now charging $15 for a portion of rice smaller that a quart! And very very greasy. I can find better food almost anywhere else in the area for $50+Hope you could go back to your old chef and menu…

Really like the decor after the renovation. Unfortunately they didn't have any noodle soups when I went, but they mentioned they would soon. Service was good and fast. Really liked the dumplings although pretty expensive. The karaage was more a Taiwanese popcorn chicken but it was really tasty and great value. Also loved fried basil. The Lu rou fan was good but a little too sweet.

This had been our favorite Chinese restaurant in the city for years. Delicious, consistent and fast. Need to be honest though, we are not impressed with the food as of recent. The menu has changed, and some of our go to items are no longer options. There is a strong difference in flavors that are no longer to our liking. We are very disappointed.

Some weeks a so, a couple of us in the office ordered Chinese food from here, thinking it was still a Chinese place. Despite the fact that it's now a Vietnamese restaurant, they honored the old menu and made the Chinese food we had ordered. And it was very good--but we told the staff that we would be sure to try the phô and other Vietnamese food the next time. Tonight was that next time, and the phô ga, with beef eye round and brisket, was as good when mixed together out of the delivery containers as any phô I've eaten in a sit-down restaurant. My buddy ordered the meatball and brisket phô, and as it was his first time ever having the dish, he fell in love. The pork summer rolls were also very, very good. This place is definitely going to be a staple of our worknight ordering, especially given the high value of all you get for a low price.

This a great place for dine in or takeout. Most of the bad reviews are by MALE Karens. Don’t listen to them. This place is clean, tasty and affordable.

I've been going to square on square for decades and it's never been better. The expanded menu - including a range of Pho and banh mi - makes it a really new experience. A lot more options beyond some very good traditional dishes. My children grew up on General Powells chicken and Mongolian beef - which are still great standbys. But the new excellent Vietnamese dishes really add to the range of options.

I was surprised that this place is now more of a Vietnamese spot! Friendly service, fast preparation, clean restaurant. There is a cool room upstairs where it looks like they host live music. Didn't catch it this time around but it looks like a cool venue.-Highly recommend the pork rice platter, absolutely delicious!- The shrimp toast were very different than the Thai style I am used to, but quite good. Very strong sesame flavor.-The bread they use for the bahn mi here is PERFECTION, and overall I would say the sandwich was good. In my personal opinion (as a self-proclaimed bahn mi snob) I did feel the strong taste of the sauce on the chicken overwhelmed the flavor balance of the sandwich, which could be overcome by toning it down a little and/or having a stronger pickled flavor on the vegetable and more herbs to balance it out.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Service was polite and fast. Food was wonderful. For the amount of food we got, including a free soup, it was a great value. I had the shrimp pad thai, and my friend had the Singapore noodles.

A go to for outstanding Sichuan food in Rittenhouse. Diverse menu, always tasty and they always bring the spice. Give them a shot!

We got "take out" last night from Square on Square. Worst food I have even eaten. The Summer Rolls with Shrimp were made with spaghetti instead of thin delicate vermicelli noodles. The rolls bursted open so that we basically got a pile of spaghetti with shrimp. They were gross. The Wonton Soup was salty broth with dumplings nothing else in the broth. I asked the guy on the phone what was in the Shrimp with Chinese Vegetables before I ordered it. He said it had bok choy, carrots, mushrooms, bamboo shoots. Sounded good. It was not good. It was disgusting. It was a white pasty blob. It was sticky. There was no sauce. I could taste the raw corn starch. It had shrimp, bamboo shoots, water chest nuts. I know it was New Year's Eve, and they may have been understaffed, but we ordered early like around 5:30 pm, and I picked it up. This was really bad quality food. I will never go there again.

Our favorite place to takeout in Philly! We love their sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, any fried rice, and any lo mein. Delicious food. Great portion sizes.

The crispy sesame chicken was soggy and the flavors were subpar compared to other similar restaurants in the area. Fried rice was tasty and rolls were good. However, overall disappointing. If looking for your staple take out or delivery Chinese, this one interaction will not keep my family coming back.
