Awesome grandma style pizza. Honestly worth the trip to south for me

Visited for our first time today around 4:30. We were the only people in there at the time, and were greeted instantly. Our server was great and attentive to both us and the customers coming in. She really multitasked perfectly between helping get ingredients for the team, checking on us, and paying attention to the people coming in for pick-up and the ones who wanted to be seated.
The pizza was amazing (we got a plain and a pepperoni square)
Even though this was our first visit I really enjoyed the fact that they had an adventurous idea for a special which was pulled pork pizza. We were going to order one of them to go for later but unfortunately we got too full on what we ordered and did not want to bring anything home besides our leftovers. 10/10 and we will be back again and again! This may be some of my favorite pizza in the city.
HIGHLY recommend as everyone else has said;
Thanks guys!

Totally enjoyed our experience at Square Pie. Simple menu but outstanding food that exceeded our expectations.

The Arancini and Pizza was not only delicious but just about perfect.

The 'Sicilian' style was light and crunchy.

Great place for pizza lovers and I definitely would go back.

Good takeout experience. I was wishing that both the large pepperoni pie and small white would have been more on the fluffy side in the dough department, both were a bit dense in my opinion. Otherwise very yummy and will be back to try some exciting pies out!!!!!

Got the mushroom pizza — super filling with a great crispy undercarriage. It was a little more burnt to my liking, and I felt it could use a bit more sauce, but overall it was solid. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

The pizza here is excellent, and I recommend for takeout. Dining in was not worth it. The ambience isn’t great, service very average, and not a great value for $37 for two people. Skip that and order a very tasty pie and enjoy at home.

Had a wonderful experience at Square Pie while visiting Philadelphia. Got the MVP & White pies along with a Cesar salad. We enjoyed everything but the chefs kiss to the MVP pie. The meatballs that are sliced thin and put on 🤌. Our server was the owners father and he was exceptional! I will definitely be back!

Note: this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There is a large step to get into the front entrance. I had enough family to lift me in (after 30 minutes of looking for a place to park I was staying…) The customer service was lackluster at best. The food was worth the extra effort and poor experience. If you aren’t disabled I would suggest the MVP. It was delicious!

Amazing pizza. One of the best doughs I’ve ever had. And then it’s topped with good ingredients to make it even better. The owner is a standout.

The highest praise I can give this place is that, on maybe 8 occasions over the past 10 years, I've passed Square Pie on my way to check out a much fancier or hyped restaurant, and just decided to get Square Pie instead. The specials are always trustworthy, the hospitality is greater than it needs to be, and people are willing to travel to meet you there. I hope it's around for many many more years!!

Excellent pizza, especially their white square pie. On par with the more well known Angelo's, but more consistent ime. I also appreciate their support of all the major ordering apps.

The owner was there the day I took my mother in law. She is from Brooklyn and absolutely loved it! I forget what the brand of the soda is. But that the bottle soda they had was so good as well. And the owner could not have possibly been any nicer and more accommodating. We will definitely go back there.
