Played here with my band Hot Dad Calendar recently and had a blast! Great people, food/drink, and atmosphere all around. Beautiful building.

Great space for watching the games or enjoying an intimate dinner with friends/family. I like the three different zones of the space! I don’t recommend the beet salad if you want anything other than just beets and tomato.
Cool spot, usually pretty chill too. On the fringes of Kensington.

Ended up here on a recommendation. Loved it! Very cool space. Food was good, sliders were some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I just recently hosted a surprise engagement party at StarBolt and it was a fantastic time! Felicia was super helpful in planning the party and getting everything set up the day of the event. All of my guests kept complimenting the food/venue and had a great time at the party. After consultation, they were even willing to make some customized food options for the party which was awesome!! I will definitely be back another time, but if you are in need of a friendly venue with great food/drinks and atmosphere for your next private event, I'd highly recommend you checking out StarBolt!

The cocktails are as good as any high end cocktail bar. The space is amazing, with the exception of the art, which detracts. The food simply doesn’t match. I can go to hundreds of other restaurants with similar menus. Yes, it’s tasty, but why not make a menu that fits the venue? This place deserves a menu that draws a huge crowd every night. There should be a waiting list for reservations. Instead, I get a smash burger and shoestring fries.
I truly want it to succeed. I understand it’s a tough business but it needs to find its niche
Not another burger, wings and a few overpriced small plates. My vote would be for a tapas style resturant. Well crafted Spanish (Spain) dishes. A cuisine that is somewhat lacking, although present, in the Philadelphia scene. Bring me a nice selection of flavor that I can enjoy with a craft drink.
Please go for a cocktail. The bartender (Perkins) makes a well crafted drink.

Second time I was here, this time with a group of friends. It’s big, roomy especially for philly/fishtown.
Menu has evolved to more pub style since my last visit and had options for everyone. This was an improvement since my first visit where I felt it had to many high end options. Overall, pretty festive, friendly and trendy. A drinks with friends kinda place.

I’ve been here many, many times. Ownership seems cool. Staff is excellent. Drinks are fine but overpriced. Food is extremely mediocre and overpriced. Eventually I just got kinda sick of getting bent over the barrel at star bolt and took my business elsewhere. I do wish them well and I’m hopeful they dial it in soon.

I live basically across the street , so I’ve try this place a few times before deciding to write a review.
First the food
We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and was left unsatisfied every time. It’s very MEDIOCRE. We even ordered wings to-go and they were uncooked ( had to put them in our air fryer to cook them throughout )
The drinks are mediocre as well.
I’ve notice that the bartenders’ cocktails knowledge was not there, which was not expected due to fish town being such a “ cocktail snobby “ location.
Such a beautiful restaurant but from staff to the food … lackluster!

The quality of the food didn’t match the quality of the venue. They definitely need a new menu. ? Other than that, place has great potential.
