I went here on a Mother’s Day Sunday 2025 at 5:45pm I purchased a peppermint mocha. Unfortunately, I gathered that it was contaminated. Everything seemed fine as I waited. I didn’t watch her make my coffee as I presumed it didn’t require my observation, given its location in University City. How wrong I was. I drank most of the coffee as I waited for my bus. An hour later, I detected an odd taste, presumably from the lid or the coffee therein. By 2 hrs, I felt so ill that I was extremely dizzy. I could barely walk home. Thankfully, I’d an anti microbial on hand and recovered enough to write this review. Again, I detected an offensive taste from the coffee. I value my safety, and will no longer visit this location. Buyer beware…

Asked for a cup of water, in a Tall cup. I was told In order to get water, I must purchase something. Spent $4 bucks on a cookie, just to hydrate. Then had to wait an additional 15 minutes just to receive my items. Seems absurd to me. In addition, the staff are NOT friendly nor welcoming. Bad vibes.

Worst Starbucks I’ve been to. Chance of them mixing up your order: high. Chance of actually getting your coffee: pretty low.

Terrible experience! I ordered my drink with no ice and got a half-empty cup.

The absolute worst location in the city, if you actually care about how your drink tastes or the cleanliness with which it is prepared, do yourself a favor and go to the 34th location! As a former barista this place astounds me at how poorly trained everyone is and terrible service

My girlfriend ordered a complicated drink and was unable to pick it up. She sent me. I arrived a little over an hour later (SB was packed) and I didn't know what the order was. I just had her name and venti. This Starbucks, I think the manager, was able to look up the order quickly and ask a colleague to remake it as, they had thrown the original drink away due to too much time. I was gone shortly thereafter with her drink. They didn't charge me twice. Absolutely heroic and I was really grateful for the good attitude and the ability to solve the problem easily and quickly. Girlfriend satisfied.

Since when did Starbucks become apathetic to giving a courtesy cup of ice water in 90+ degree weather? Oh, that’s right, since Ian began employment. I’ve been ordering from this location for over a decade— it’s okay, you don’t need my green.

I went here on a Mother’s Day Sunday 2025 at 5:45pm Long story short, the barista made a peppermint mocha that was contaminated. I can again detect my lid tasted like her hands were on the moth piece. I value my safety, and will no longer visit this location. Buyer beware…

This is probably the least coordinated and dirty Starbucks I have been in. We ordered a couple teas and a water for my preschooler and it took over 15 min to get the first drink, let alone the whole order. The employees appear frazzled and are more worried about talking to each other than hustling. There have been no less than 10 mobile order people waiting the whole time we have been here who are just as frustrated with the wait times as people who ordered in house. There is sticky stuff across the main table and trash all over the floor, making it undesirable to stay here at all.
Thought this would be a good pop in for a cool drink on a warm day and was very disappointed.

I love walking into a nearly empty store to place a counter order, then waiting 10 minutes while the baristas make drinks for people who aren’t there.
Counter orders should get priority over mobile orders since counter customers are literally standing in your store waiting for their order!
