DO NOT COME HERE. horrible customer service experience. When they messed up my order with almond milk, they told me it was my fault and said they didn’t want to remake it. So rude:(

The workers here are all extremely rude to the customers. The manner in which they ask the customers questions and speak to them… it’s very accusatory and generally rude and not like any Starbucks I’ve ever visited. Instead of speaking like they’re willing to help, they say things like “why are you doing that?” In an angry way. I guess the hiring is different since it’s in a school but Starbucks usually prioritizes customer service. I saw these reviews (the problem has persisted for YEARS - must be the team culture) but thought the chances I experience it would be slim since I never have problems at Starbucks. But anyone who comes into contact with these women will get their wrath, just picking up an online order drink. I genuinely hope a change can be made. They really hate customers, I can hear them complaining from my seat.

Worst customer service. The attitude from the employees is horrible — especially by the older short lady who was the cashier (she didn’t wear a name tag so i don’t know her name). I had them make an iced matcha latte with 2% milk, no other customization (a drink that i’ve had from starbucks so many times before) and it tasted sour. The aftertaste lingered horribly in my mouth. I had asked them politely to remake it with oatmilk instead and told them that the milk tasted sour. I received a face of disapproval and she said: “We just received our milk yesterday, it’s not sour.” And i said that “it doesn’t taste right, the aftertaste is sour.” Another employee chimed in and said that i had to pay for the oatmilk, which was fine. But they were so bothered to have to remake it. And to top it all off, the cashier complained to her employees while i was standing right there: “I don’t serve no sour milk, what is she thinking” and stares at me from a distance as i walk at the order pick up section. Like ??? I had asked politely to remake it and i even paid extra 80 cents so i could get oatmilk instead. I didn’t make a fuss, i bought up a concern and received backlash instead. Honestly, if you’re upenn students, you should make the extra walk to get to the Starbucks on Walnut.

The few times I've been here, the woman manning the register has been the rudest you could imagine, with the worst attitude. She doesn't look like she wants to be there or to serve customers. I didn't mind going despite not being able to pay with the app, which is already a downside, but with this huffy and stuck-up woman's face to greet you, I don't have any intention of ever returning

Just bad customer service. Been in customer service my whole life and never treated customers this way. Please take your bad attitudes to elsewhere, Starbucks is about the service.

The middle aged black lady working there needs to get fired asap. I have worked in customer service my entire life and know how difficult it is so I am extra kind towards workers in the service industry. She was from another world, seriously had so much attitude for literally no reason. I literally just ordered and she was screaming and cutting me off when I asked for a cake pop. A cake pop.. After seeing the reviews it’s a common theme how rude the servers are. Starbucks always has bright and cheery workers, and this place was the worst Starbucks I’ve been to yet. Please fire her, she clearly doesn’t enjoy working.

The college maintence was resurfacing the walkway. But you could still navigate around the site for food trucks and 39th near Spruce had many amenities.

the best thing is that the store opened until 11:00 p.m. great for students

I mean it's a Starbucks so you already know what your getting, but the employees bust ass! It's always so busy but all the workers still keep a great pace and look focused.

Women who work in this location are rudest I have ever seen. They just keep talking and ignoring you when you are ready to order. They are yelling to you when your food/drink is ready..... They just don't care they will lose this job because they work at a university. They should all get fired. /It has been two years after I made above comments... I came back and they are still working at here but zero improvement....

I see that lots of people give it really bad grades. Personally, never had much trouble with service. If you're nice to employees, they'll be polite in return and that's about how it works in any situation.
