I can't say this enough. Go here and get a pastey. The crust is out of this world. I had two different ones and they were both great. The jerk chicken had quite a nice kick.We also went another time and got the full English and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. They make their own sausage folks.... and it totally shows. The little imported extras like ribena, and various crisps are just icing in the cake.Dietary restrictions: They have a broad offering packed into a small spot but I didn't see much that would be vegan or vegetarian. I would suggest calling ahead.

Visiting this bakery offered a truly unique and unforgettable culinary adventure. The pastry craftsmanship was exceptional, and the flavors of both the beef and onion pie and the sausage roll were outstanding. Between the two, the sausage roll stood out as my favorite, showcasing an incredible level of skill in its creation. Additionally, the millionaire shortbread was a delight. Despite its small size, it was intensely rich, making it a perfect treat to share. A highlight of the experience was the chili-infused vinegar. Its acidity brilliantly cut through the richness of the sausage roll, enhancing its taste with a subtle chili undertone. This combination elevated the entire meal, making it highly recommendable for an enriched dining experience. Thank you, Sam, for bringing your craft to philadelphia. Will definitely be in soon to try one of the special meals...

Ventured into Stargazy on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a cozy takeout experience. Opting not to dine in due to the quaint size of the space, we were nonetheless charmed by its inviting ambiance and the unique selection of pantry items available for purchase. Our order included a hearty Shepherd’s Pie, a flavorsome Cheese and Onion Pasty, a rich Lamb Lancashire Hotpot, and a savory Beef & Onion Pie accompanied by Mash & Parsley Liquor. Each dish was a testament to traditional flavors, with the pastries particularly standing out - a true highlight for anyone with a penchant for baked delights. Despite the limited space, Stargazy offers a heartwarming glimpse into classic cuisine, making every bite worth the visit. Perfect for those seeking authentic, delicious meals on the go. Highly recommend for a taste of comfort, especially on a chilly day!

I have past by this place many times, and this was the first time I stopped in and am very happy that I did. I had the pleasure of meeting Sam, who cooked up my “fish and Chips” to go and it was absolutely delicious! Thank you, Sam. Looking forward to trying the other items on his menu. But, the fish and chips, served on Fridays, are highly recommended.

Amazing rare Brit food you don't often see here in the Philly area. Ordered one of everything on the menu and it was all excellent. Owner is a Spurs fan, so drop in during one of their EPL games. Highly recommend!

Absolute gem of a place and the food really tastes like what I ate while in london, so bonus points for major nostalgia. Their millionaire shortbread bar is also incredible and everyone should try it.

Yeah it's worth the notoriety. Super delicious. Very small space, definitely more geared for to-go. One day I'll make it Sunday for the Fish and Chips

Just outstanding British food. The best savory pies I have had in 20 years. Highly recommend the Beef and Onion pie, Cheese and Onion pasty and the Sausage, Mash and sauce are bangers! Fish and chips are also a classic executed perfectly (usually Fridays). Oh, and did I mention the full English breakfast? Best comfort food in Philly.

Ello mate. One dandy morn, mandem hopped on the tube with my mates to South Philadelshire for some Br'ish grub, yeah. The place was tiny and guests may have to squeeze by people sitting down to get to the cashier. The vibes were more "cafe takeout with a few tables" than "sit and stay" full service restaurant/pub. They have a cool mini market offering British chocolates, candies, canned goods, and soft drinks, but did not have any beer or tea for takeout or dine in. Gutted if you're looking for a cuppa or pint. For food, I tried the Bedfordshire Clanger, a long pastry which is half savory and half sweet. The texture is like a nice flakey pie (yum!). The flavors change daily. I had the half lamb / half apple cranberry and thought it was ok, but not incredible. The Friday Fish & Chips were good with the fish being soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Overall, I rate this place 3/5, which is not meant to discourage anyone from trying it because I just prefer food with more spices and British food is meant to be plain and simple. I would return to see if I like any other food including Shepard's Pie and Yorkshire pudding which were not available at the time. Cheers, bruv
