Had to check out STATIC! as soon as it opened since Next of Kin is one of my favorite cocktail bars in the city.
The drinks are very similar to Next of Kin, the menu format is different though. Each page has a different type of cocktail and a corresponding theme to it. It’s a cute idea!
We sat at a table near the bar and the service was great. They were attentive and even gave us a free shot! Our drinks were tasty, my friend didn’t *love* his espresso martini but we still enjoyed it overall.
The thing that was difficult about this bar was they have floor to ceiling windows all along the front, so the openness caused the music and other patrons voices to echo and reflect. It was pretty loud in there. I also like when cocktail bars don’t have a lot of windows, to create a cozier feel. That’s just a personal preference.
It’s nice to have a more relaxed vibe in the Gayborhood - I can see myself coming back in the future!

Amazing drinks! Recommend the PSL Milk Punch, Split Decision, Smoke & Barrels, and Hanky Panky. Cocktail menu is extensive. We were seated immediately (arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday night). Our server was attentive, informative, and charismatic. We will be back again!

stopped into Static Philly, the new cocktail bar on 12th & Spruce in Midtown Village (the old Tria space), and it instantly became my new after-work spot. The space is cool, chic, and lit in the best way—intimate but energetic, with that neighborhood-meets-industry vibe you can’t fake.
I went on night two, and you’d never know it. The team already feels like a well-oiled machine, and the level of care they put into every detail is obvious. This is a true craft cocktail bar, open seven days a week, and every drink I tried was incredibly inventive and genuinely delicious.
Huge shoutout to my server MARKIS who was the cherry on top—knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly excited about the menu. He knew every cocktail inside and out and guided me through the offerings. Static care deeply about thoughtful drinks, great hospitality, and creating a space the neighborhood can be proud of. Could not recommend it more.
Static Philly is absolutely a must-visit—and officially my new go-to spot after work. 🍸✨

Incredible bar! Such an interesting and unique menu, from the classics to some combinations I’ve never seen. The atmosphere is fantastic and everyone is incredibly friendly. Will definitely be returning!
