Several menu options, on an already small list, were unavailable. Service was slow, although the place was half-empty.
It is wonderful to look forward to and then enjoy a tasty, innovative and well prepared meal after looking at treasure house of art that the Philadelphia Museum of Art gifts us with. This day we took a member tour and the lunch topped off a lovely day.
Stir has a limited menu but our selections were delicious. Due to a gluten allergy, we appreciated having the halibut as a GF option, along with the modified asparagus. Our server, annotated as A1 on the receipt, was knowledgeable about allergies and took great care. Thank you to the Stir kitchen and staff for a delicious lunch.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Stir. The staff was great, our waitress couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. The food was delicious. We'll be back!
The quiche and bread were delicious. Server was accommodating and pleasant. Decor is lovely, very comfortable Italian leather chairs.
Caesar salad, rolls and gelato were delicious! Server was helpful, friendly, and courteous. Very enjoyable lunch.
Terrible, salty food. Small portions of the one decent entree two people ordered in our party of 4. Hot food not hot. Hour long wait in an almost empty restaurant. Freezing A/C. The server was wonderful. Felt bad for her as we seemed to be her only customers.
Great spot for nice lunch - good was really good and the service was outstanding- highly recommend this spot for a Museum lunch experience
The quiche was a little undercooked but had a good taste. The soup I ordered needed salt and we had to ask for that since it wasn't on the table. The service was good. It was our first time there and would go again and try something different in the menu.
We eat lunch at Stir several times a year, as we did on this occasion. The menu always has some seasonal dishes that are appreciated; this time we shared the quiche and the caraflex cabbage. Food is well-prepared and service is very good. The decor and furniture is relaxing and the sound level is usually low.

Great service from Gaby. Food very nice and ambience perfect for a relaxing meal with friends.
Hosting an out of town guest, I was proud of our museum and all it had to offer. I requested a quiet booth for lunch and was placed perfectly, allowing us to catch up and share photos privately. The architectural details of the ceiling in Stir are impressive, but the restaurant lacks warmth, coziness and color, although the wrought iron detail through the shades is lovely. The smash burger was delicious and prepared perfectly. However, I was disappointed that the chicken salad sandwich and other casual sandwiches were no longer on the menu. I was looking for something basic, not a salad and not a dinner type entree, but yummy, due to some GI issues the previous day.
Lovely space, excellent food. A real treat to have such a wonderful dining experience in the museum!
A great spot to grab lunch and relax between looking at an amazing collection of all types of art.
This was our second visit and we were sadly disappointed. The menu was not as appealing and the overall feel was incoherent. The only food standout was the asparagus appetizer; the lemon pasta was bland and over cooked; burger and fish ok but nothing special. What tanked the lunch however was the truly careless, bordering on rude, service. The host was cold and stiff, and the wait staff consistently made mistakes w no apology. I don't think the wait staff meant to be inept, to give them the benefit of the doubt perhaps they just were never trained. Overall tho, Stir spoiled what we hoped would be a lovely birthday lunch. I do not recommend and will not return.
