Subway in Philadelphia

“Violent crimes are up 60% in NYC subways as illegal immigrants and out of control inflation ravage cities across America. My favorite Subway sandwich is the italian or the tuna is very good too. Is Philadelphia better off now than it was 4 yrs ago?“

“It is completely different from the Baibai Chicken next to it. Across the street, I ordered a sandwich from Baibai Chicken and the order was still on the table half an hour later. No one cares at all. This one greets you as soon as you walk in the door. Although I like eating fried chicken, I will never go to Baibai Chicken across the street again.“

“The service was good. I was glad that the employee took his time ⏲️ and got my order correct. I told once he was focused on getting the job done right the first time. I really appreciate that. Knowing some of the less than stellar service I received at other places.“

“I've been coming to this Subway branch regularly for almost two years, and every time I visit, the sincerity and warmth of the staff truly impress me. Everyone is so genuine and hospitable that I always feel like I'm in a family environment. I want to thank each and every employee, as they not only do their job professionally but also with great sincerity. Interestingly, the staff always remembers my name, yet I still haven’t managed to learn theirs! 😊😊 In such a warm and friendly atmosphere, remembering names takes a backseat for me. I'm so grateful to all of you, it's always a pleasure to be here!“

“My husband, son and I came here to shoot some time because right across the street is a laundry mat and of course we were taking care of errands. Long story short..we ordered our food but up in making our decisions, the person taking care of us was a little short on patience. But the food was lovely and that was the only thing we noticed was wrong. Environment was nice and quiet. Convient and clean. Kid friendly.“

“The actual sandwhich tasted good, but the portioning of the meat was incorrect. I ordered a titan turkey and there’s supposed to be 16 slices. There was maybe 10 slices on there(which is less than a regular turkey 12inch) I’ve worked at subway in my home time so I’m aware of the portioning. Other than that the sandwhich tasted good and the environment of the restaurant is clean and neat.“

“Love the older man there. So considerate and loving while making my subs, but the younger lady there over charged me just for a sub (no chips or drink) and left me hanging at the register for a good while. Only tipped because it seemed like she was having a stressful night. Do better please 🙏“

“10/21/2021 *I cant make a new and separate review.*I recently had a visit where the soda machine was still down and the POS system went down while me and another customer were in line. Marisol stayed professional throughout the ordeal. She is the only reason why I keep giving my money to this establishment at this point.(Older Review)*Disclaimer* I am giving this subway restaurant a 5 star review ONLY because of the new cashier, Marisol. She is friendly, courteous, pleasant, and goes above and beyond for her customers. We think she she should be recommended for employee of the month or promoted to a higher position.My past experience with this restaurant and staff has been awful. The soda machine and computers were down yesterday, so I couldn't buy what I wanted.I have lived in this neighborhood for over two years and the lady that worked the evening shift was rude and nasty to customers.“

“Subway located at 8800 Essington Avenue Food Court, B-C Connector, Philadelphia, PA 19153 has very good subs! The sandwiches are made quickly and the staff is friendly. Busy Subway for sure! Great sandwiches.Most of the menu has high sodium warning which is a given.“

“Excellent customer service today! I ordered cookies and a drink! Cookies were nice and warm. Though, I had to wait for them to make a fresh batch of my cookie order, they added an additional cookie for my wait:-)! The cashier was helpful and very friendly!!!“

“Excellent quality sandwiches and wraps, which are all made with the freshest of ingredients. The customer service is both fast and friendly. Most of the sandwiches and wraps are priced in the $5.00 -to- $8.00 dollar category. I'll be returning again and again. Highly recommended!!“

“I always get either teriyaki or chicken and bacon ranch. Hands down best subway I went to so far. Friendly staff, faster service and most important they make the best hoagies. Bread is always fresh and taste amazing. Restaurant is always clean and inviting.“

“Well it's a Subway restaurant or something like that I'm not a big fan of Subway because of the way they move you through the line hurry up make your pic get out that type of thing. But if you're in the mood for a hoagie or something like that it's done a bed place to stop prices are a little bit more than your average hoagie shop. Yes they are service dog friendly and I would recommend stopping at a hobby shop before here“

“Our fav family subway and go to place to eat at the airport !!! The folks who work here are so pleasing and surely the best! My kid wanted a cheese sandwich and they were so sweet and made it to his liking !! Good staff - good business - happy customer - good raise for staff !!! Oh and everything is super fresh !!!! Manager takes awesome care of staff - it’s an airport location and they might be tired so give them some love while you enjoy the food they make !!!“

“Went there on 1/29/25 the person that took care of our big order was very polite and made our food without attitude or any problems and was very accommodating when I’m in the area I will definitely return thank you so much not to mention the subway on aramingo ave closed early they are supposed to be open until 9 we went there after I got home from work at 830 and they said they were closed maybe if they worked like the guy at this location they wouldn’t be closing early they would be making money again for the guys at 4600 Roosevelt blvd thank you for being open and not having an issue when we gave you our big order stay the way you are and you’ll continue to get that business“

“Good option for lunch in the area. The guys that are always there at lunch are pleasant, everything is clean and the food is fresh. It's a subway, I'm giving it five stars because they deserve it, but it is a subway. This isn't the best food ever, but if you like the food at subway this one will be great,“

“I love it here because the woman who works here is no-nonsense. It’s subway — learn to order. The worker isn’t bad at her job. You need to learn to be a better customer… I can’t stand bad customers who are rude and stupid. Also my food has never been wrong so idk what you all are talking about with that.“
