Subway

I was recently on a long layover at PHL. I ordered breakfast and coffee, using the Subway app. I waited 20 minutes then walked over to the counter. No one was present, but I saw my food wrapped up on the counter next to the register. However, no coffee. I waited a good 10 minutes for an employee to appear, but nope. So I just grabbed my food and left. I asked Subway Customer Service to comp me for the coffee, since I paid using a Subway gift card right in the Subway app. And got no response!

I ordered on this subway during return trip, the service is definitely super-fast and the staff did change gloves on request as I ordered vegetarian. Those are the good things. The food, bread and ingredients are all not so fresh, but typical airport quality.

Whoever made my sandwich made it well BUT he told the cashier to ring it up as a more expensive sandwich (#16 or something) which is NOT what I ordered. They told me $17 and I was like wait WHAT?! I pointed to the menu and told the cashier this chicken foot long was only $12 so she modified the price but be on the look out of the prices you get charged vs what’s on the menu please!

Delicious Italian herb and cheese steak footlong at 6:35am. Yum ?

Subway located at 8800 Essington Avenue Food Court, B-C Connector, Philadelphia, PA 19153 has very good subs! The sandwiches are made quickly and the staff is friendly. Busy Subway for sure! Great sandwiches.Most of the menu has high sodium warning which is a given.

Ordered through the mobile app then watched 25 people go through the line. I waited patiently until the time my order was “ready” only to find that the guy at the register had never even given the staff my order. Literally took 25 minutes to get my sandwich. Would have been faster to just wait in the line. Sandwich was also missing bacon.

Standard subway. The gentleman behind the counter was great though! There is a small dining area with tables right next to it. A FOOTLONG SPICY ITALIAN IS NOT WORTH 11 BUCKS. SHEESH. ? Bring back those 5 dollar footlong deals already.
