Wow. First of all the atmosphere, COZY! The music, actually good. The Eggs Benedict was the best ive had in the city. My server Sam was sooo open and welcoming. I have a speech problem and Sam couldnt have more patient, usually i am embarrassed by this but Sam made me feel more comfortable than ever so thank you for that. Will be returning ASAP.

I've been coming to Sulimay's for years, generally satisfied. My last visit was breakfast for my grown son and I. He loved his western omlette platter. I had a scrapple omlette and was surprised at how small the portion was. My plate was 3/4 full of potatoe. My glass of orange juice was $7, though delicious. We also ordered the scrapple fries and split them. Great idea to cook scrapple that way! Our total though, for 2 people in a restraunt that you can hardly walk down the aisle without bumping people cost $47 plus a tip. I also never received my rye toast until my meal was finished, although I had reminded the server multiple times.

Stopped by around 10:30AM on a Sunday and waited about 10 mins for a table. Food was delicious. I had the migas scramble and my partner had the fishtown scramble which was big enough to break into two meals. Service was a little slow.

I was so excited to try Sulimay's, until I did. They were seriously lacking in the flavor department. Biscuits we're not good and again no flavor. Also, I payed about $6 more per platter than the published price. Overall disappointing experience 😔.
So, we are on a winter vacation for hubby’s bday and we wanted to try new breakfast places. JL Jupiter on YouTube did a review of Sulimay’s in Fishtown Philly and highly recommended it! We just left there and OMG 😱 the hospitality from the door was top notch! The place was clean, filled with memorabilia, felt welcoming and ok it’s time for the food!!!! Husband had the Fishtown fish scrapple and he loved it! I had eggs, bacon, potatoes with peppers and onions that was delicious not to mention my wheat toast was toasted perfectly! We will definitely go back the next time we are in town! Oh and she was playing some good music too!! If you haven’t been yes run don’t walk to Sulimay’s 632 E Girard Av!!!
Parking: It’s in a neighborhood in Philly so IFYKYK! But because it’s a week day in the morning we found a spot walked about 1 block to restaurant…
