My new favorite sandwich shop in Philly! It’s located in Lucky’s Trading Co. and has a super cute and retro interior. Board games to play and lots of places to sit.
I’ve had the Paulie, Casanova & Bird is the Word. All delicious. The Casanova is my favorite, the cutlets were breaded and fried to perfection. Seeded roll which is the best bread. The paulie was good, but a bit too much garlic and pepper that was overpowering the simplicity of a cheesesteak.
I will absolutely keep coming back to try more of their sandwiches!
Love getting takeout from Sunshine Sandwich Shop on Ridge Ave. My favorite is the Paulie Signature Sandwich—it’s amazing. The place has a cool hipster vibe. Definitely a good spot.
I'm not from Philly, just a guy that traveled through town and wanted to get an authentic Cheesesteak. I did my research and settled on this place. It was really really good. I got the Paulie with the onions and it was very tasteful. The bread was soft and you could tell it was fresh. Whatever the cheese combo they put on it was so melty and just meshed real well. The one piece of advice I'd give is sit and eat it. Or take it somehwere and sit and eat it. I was traveling through and needed to keep driving, I don't recommend driving through Philly traffic while trying to eat a cheesesteak.
Paulie. Ribeye in a chopped style with homemade cheese sauce. Lots of pepper, and lightly clear fried onions. Seseme roll. Very fresh bread bouncy crust and soft crumb. This place would have a line up if it was in the city. Going to be hard to beat in my tour of Steaks 🥩. I would be 300lb if I lived anywhere close to this place. Go get this Sando and enjoy it. All the other stuff looked great as well
Loved everything we ordered.
Amazing sandwiches. Love the BLT! Keep it up from one Judd to another (thanks for the note in my order)
Such an amazing sandwich shop! Ordered Paulie, hands-down the best Philly cheese steak sandwich I have had. It's not super greasy, everything is very well seasoned (I'm blender in terms of taste), the cheese strikes the perfect balance. It's also a cute vibe, and their hot sauces are bomb! If we ever travel to Philly again, will definitely visit!
This place sneakily has an amazing cheesesteak (the Paulie). Highly recommended!
What an amazing sandwich in a really cool spot. Staff was super friendly and the music was on point! If you’re looking for a great meal in a fantastic spot you have got to check this place out!?
Great place great people!
I came through cuz I got a coupon at my train stop the other day which was an awesome marketing campaign since the train stop is right there
My note: be open at 7 if you serve coffee/breakfast, right? Especially on weekdays.
Honestly, 6am would be ideal since ya serve coffee too.
The trains come every hour at the XX:37 mark so it'll be the best when the spot can hit on the way to the train stop.
Lisa's is gone and they were the only place open in walking distance open that early. There is a hole to fill. They had truckloads of union guys getting sandwiches at 5am and people in there constantly when they were open.
Maybe there's a legal reason y'all can't be open earlier which I don't know about. That would suck.

Their take on the classic cheese steak (the Paulie) is one of the best I’ve ever had!!! Service was fast, staff super friendly!

Friendly people behind the counter, great food, and although a smidge on the pricy side, they have great vegetarian options too. Happy to be able to get a giant breakfast sandwich close by

I rarely leave reviews but the food was just so good! And there's also lots of artisan snacks for sale that are reasonably priced for the quality. Haven't had a sandwich this good since COVID started. My other favorite place closed down and I guess I found my new favorite! Just wish it was possible to eat in. Some comfy couches would be nice. Also as a night owl I wish there was more hours. But this place has a great start hopefully they'll be able to have a brick and mortar that's open later at some point. But this otherwise place is lovely. Staff was friendly and kind, service was quick for how good the quality. Oh and I'm picky about bread. Tend to prefer crusty European bread, But this was damn good. Tender and well made.

I’ll be honest the buffalo chicken cheesesteak was not my favorite. I wish the chicken was chopped more rather than in big chunks that kept falling out of the sandwich. Would reorder the regular cheesesteak though.
