My review is about the ownership. How many people lend someone $600,000, charge no interest, sign over properties, give half of a company back, allow these people to fleece them for $175,000 price increase on condo sale that you bought at $126,900 sold to them 3 years later at $158,500 and they sell it back to you less than 3 years later as is for $323,000?
In return I simply asked for all my money back immediately and they could only come up with $180,000. You helped these people have a place to stay a company to build when they needed it most .
Then years later the tables are turned and you ask for a $50,000 loan and they block you . They talk to you like you are less than human. Yeah the food is good . But this restaurant along with anything they are involved in, do you want to give them your money ? When you know you are only good to them if you are giving to them .
Yeah they have done things. But you don’t turn your back on someone who did what I did .

amazing. as always! it’s been a while since having their brunch, and honestly it is just so very perfect. all of their meals are! there are very few restaurants i would “order anything” from (pending it is gluten free because… celiac disease), and they make it SO EASY. their pita looks delish but their food and mezza speaks for itself. i’ve never had a bad meal here, bad drink, or less than outstanding service. i was a walk-in today with my friend and i finally got to eat in the garden… even better. just, go. be adventurous. their food is amazing.

All the dishes were amazing! Gotta try the kibbeh nayyeh if you love tartare. The brown bag serving of the pita was surprising. Maybe would have been a nice touch if they were Suraya-branded or if they were served in a towel like people actually do with fresh pita.

How embarrassing! We went to eat and they asked us what we were celebrating. We spent $127 and they brought us this. It's an insult; it would have been better not to have brought anything at all. Incredible! Aren't you ashamed of not even bringing a cookie?
Hmm. I will say overall the food is good, but not special. The server(s) were about as entertaining as paint drying on the wall. The decor was really cool. Kind of overpriced for what you get to be honest.
