Bland, stale, crusty, and flavorless. Wasn't super impressed with anything ordered- from the edamame to actual rolls. The pepper tuna was falling apart because the rice was so dry. Would not order again

Haha Haha

Ordered a poke bowl and it was disappointing. The crispy onions were stale, very light on the fish, and received white rice instead of sushi rice. I might try them again, but probably not.

This is a good place to eat sushi and ramen. Personally, I ordered the miso soup ramen and I loved it: both the decoration of the dish, as well as the quantity and flavor, were in harmony; For starters we ordered gyozas, which were delicious. My companion ordered a shrimp tempura roll which, on the other hand, although it had a delicious flavor, the quantity was small in relation to the price. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff treated us very kindly, which made us enjoy the experience even more.

Let me preface, I've ordered from Sushi & Poke 4 times. I was impressed initially to give them 5 star reviews on multiple sites. However, as passionate as the owners are about fulfilling their dream, they need to wake up from the land of myopia. By giving smaller portions to customers is not a smart move. I ordered the Poke Bowl pick 2 with tuna and salmon. The pieces of sushi were cut smaller to fill space, which there is PLENTY OF DEAD SPACE. The circumference of the bowl is 6 inches round. First are pictures from 2 weeks ago, and secondly are the most recent pictures. The food is fresh. Many toppings I wouldn't order, because if they're not organic, they're in the dirty dozen of vegetables with the most pesticides. There's one gluten free sauce. Nothing else is notated for food allergies. The fish is fresh. I thought this was going to be my go to several times a month for sushi and poke. Now, it stands in an overcrowded field where there's not much differentiation. Recommendation- if this is your dream, make it a big dream- a brand that finds a way to differentiate itself smartly from others in the same category and marketplace,

Sushi & Poke is a restaurant where they make it clear, they are “doing what [they] love.” The prices are extremely reasonable, and the portions of the entrees are on par with the prices (except the sushi rolls). The most important aspect of sushi is the freshness of the fish; and the sushi is very fresh and tasty! The menu offers a wide variety of items, from speciality rolls, and a la carte sushi or sashimi to Ramen soup, Bento boxes, and Poke bowls. My order was delivered accurately and in a timely manner with exceptional service. I have not eaten inside the establishment, so I can’t comment on the restaurant’s ambiance, sushi bar, etc. What I can assure you, of the many places you can order from, Sushi & Poke is a winner, and I’ll be ordering again. My second time- I order a poke bowl and the four (4) sushi rolls- white tuna jalapeño, salmon avocado, tuna avocado, and yellowtail scallion. There were six pieces to a roll, which is the average. The portion was disappointing. At Sushi and Poke, for the less than $1 more, I wish they made them large enough for 8 slices of the same size or larger and 6 slices. It’s shortsighted. The bowls are approximately 6” full of the fish, base, and toppings you select. All the ingredients are fresh. They could note which of the sauces, aside from the Shoyu is gluten-free, as well as some of the toppings. When ordering rolls, they could add enough sauce for four (4) rolls vs what you’d get if you ordered two (2). In food, as in like, attention to detail, minor differences, and non-myopic thinking are what makes huge distinctions. Nonetheless, each poke bowl exceeded expectations, and is priced right. The second time ordering, I order the poke bowl with two proteins- tuna and salmon. Sushi Rice was the base, with tuna, salmon, gluten-free shoyu sauce, masago, radish, purple cabbage, edamame, pistachio, and sesame seeds. Again, it was fresh, and delicious.Don’t hesitate, order, or visit their location at 1310 South Street in Philadelphia. Well recommended!

I came in with a group of 8 on my birthday yet they still tried their best to accommodate and make us feel comfortable. The food was affordable and delicious all at the same time, so if you want a nice and yummy place to hang out after school then come here.
