New chef needed. Food was very bland. Portions very small. Lemon drop martini was good. We ordered 4 different entrees and none was good.
We went to a show at the Sedgwick and this is across the street so we went for dinner because of the great online reviews. The food was good and fresh but nothing spectacular. The service was awful. Barely anyone came over to take care of us and when they did, they didn't know about the menu or items and spoke so softly we had to ask them to repeat themselves repeatedly. It's pretty loud. Even though we made a reservation, we got one of the worst tables- at the top of the stairs as soon you turn the corner. This meant lots of foot traffic and the table was wobbly which just made the whole thing less pleasant. They tried to fix the table but didn't really know how so it didn't last long. I ordered a salad and app for my meal and my husband got a pizza. Even though that was my meal they still brought it out early so I was done long before my husband even got his pizza. It's not a bad place but just not somewhere I would go again.
The girl that was there lastnight with all the makeup on had a nasty attitude.
Just ok. Was seated upstairs by ourselves with fly's. Very awkward. Server was nice but she was by herself and had to go up and down the stairs so service wasn't prompt. Not her fault. Went their for lunch - only had a brunch menu (Found that odd for a Saturday). Ended up just ordering pizza which was good. Not expensive not cheap; but I don't plan on going back especially with so many nearby choices.
The food was amazing! And all these staff were so friendly and welcoming! And the vibe was so nice. We sat on the second floor, which was spacious, clean and beautiful. Cal helped us and they were so nice and patient. I’ll definitely go here again

The restaurant is old, we had a cramped table in the corner, and there was a fly circling our table, but the smell of the oven, the ambience, and the food were to die for! I’ve bought from both the brunch and pizza menus and they’re always top tier in looks and taste. A must visit, seating arrangement might not always be ideal, but food is what I’m here for.

Would’ve given it 5 stars, but more waitress are needed. Our waitress was great! But she was also behind the bar as well, she did amazing and works well under pressure. HOWEVER! It’s time to bring about 2 more people in.
Food was great! I wasn’t too crazy about the Nashville hot sauce. It wasn’t spicy and something is missing just can’t pin point it. The pickle ranch didn’t give that at all. It needs a little more ingredients/seasoning. The Korean BBQ pizza was really good. However, wasn’t a lot of meat. I didn’t expect it to be filled, but way more than given. Other than that I definitely recommend. Everything is home made. Everyone was very friendly as well.

I was excited to try this spot because they had vegan options so my aunt & I went for brunch on a Saturday.
They were out of champagne for drinks which wasn’t a problem because we didn’t really go to drink we went for food.
The food came out, everything was flavorless..
I requested onions in my “homefries” which ended up being sliced shallots tossed in oil.
My aunt had the chicken & french toast, the chicken was flavorless & burnt on the outside
& the French toast was kinda like something you could make at home & cold.
I would go back only for the service as our server was great but nothing really was a hit so I won’t be back. I really want it to do well especially with brunch as we need more brunch spots in the area. I would love for the establishment to keep the brunch items but maybe research & go back to the drawing board to make it worth while.

The bartender Danielle made one of the best balanced Old Fashioned drinks I’ve had in a while. It’s a vibe here, chill and comfortable and sophisticated all at the same time. Recommend!

We tried Blue Elephant for the first time and loved it. The drinks, food and service were outstanding. And lived the vibe on the first floor.
Ambiance was nice !! Food was plated nice however the cheese on the pizza was way too salty for my liking thank God my daughter doesn't eat cheese and we scraped it off for her.. that would have been way too much sodium for a daily intake for a child .. and my truffle fries were lukewarm considering we were only one of two guest in the establishment at the time I feel my food should have been hot! But the waiter whom served us .. he was nice .. however as for his coworker.. she complained the whole time as she sat at the second floor bar ... we were seated by the front window and we could hear how unhappy she was.. : /
Toska (Töska?) is a laid-back two-storey restaurant in what I would say is the main drag (or village center) of Mount Airy. The décor is simple, spare, and there are attractive blown-glass-looking accents strung on cables. The server was quite friendly, which in Philadelphia is not a given. We ordered eggplant parmesan sitting atop fettuccine in the requisite marinara sauce, which my husband liked a great deal, and a Wagyu burger on brioche, which was surprisingly good: the bacon was done exactly right, not sliced too thickly, and the burger was medium-rare as I had asked. French fries are decent, certainly abundant, but they're a little flaccid (they are, however, "real" fries, not the heated-up deep-freeze variety we see so often). A salad with cucumber and fennel and small tomatoes was perfect, as was the burrata on a bed of arugula with slightly roasted small tomatoes and a vinaigrette. I like a slightly more room-temperature burrata and one that is a bit less firm, but this one was fine. The ambience is good, except that the much-touted wood-burning oven perfumes the entire restaurant a little more than it should. Also, it would be good to have sparkling bottled water on the menu.
I’ve been here three times since it’s been open. Every time our entire party has had a satisfying dining experience. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Food is good! Menu has something for everyone.

Disappointed because I was so impressed when we arrived ! So welcoming and clean.
However our service from Oliver was terrible. He was not attentive or ever came back to ask us if we needed anything. My food came out cold. My napkin was dirty. We never got new napkins. The drinks were really good. The hot honey sandwiche was mediocre. The bun was more of the meal than the meat.
Over all I’m not sure if I’d come back. Service was the worst part and we got there when they were empty.
