Food here is sub par the old owners cooked better. Food is very salty not seasoned well at all. You want authentic tasting rice and beans with chicken and a real alcapurria go to Freddy and Tony’s on front and Indy. The customer service is excellent there and better priced. I once ordered 3 chicken wings and a soda and the charged me $9.00. No rice no beans smh. Weren’t even fresh or tasted good. Anyway pick your poison but I pass on this trash

Found this treasure place when I was looking for Dominican/ Mexican food for lunch at work. Really really good slow cook ribs. I really want to know how they seasoned it even there might be some recipes online. When you chewing the chicharrones the juice/fat just come out and it taste really really good.Ribs/ chicharrones(crispy slow cook pork belly), rice and beans, salad, and maduros(sweet fried plantains) for $13.Do not go to Applebees, TGI Fridays, McDonald’s, meals from local tea like this gives you better and healthier choices, and they deserved more customers.Part of ribs and chicharrones(the part doesn’t include much fat) became too hard/too dry to eat after long time cook, some of them are not eatable anymore since it’s too hard. There should be a way to avoid this problem. As I know the Cantonese type Chinese BBQ restaurant has slow cook ribs and crispy pork belly too (with different seasoning of course) , but theirs doesn’t have this problem, and pork belly are perfectly brown. I don’t know how they do it. Maybe cover meat with aluminum paper and be more accurate at the timing and temperature by cooking them not as long as Latin chicharrones(chicharrones taste harder/crispier). If you try pork belly from both restaurants you will know what I meant

Necesitan como tratar las personas. La mujer que hoy 2/16/24 que tenía un tshirt gris es muy jestosa y no sabe como tratar las personas. They need to learn to better deal with customers. The lady that works there has an attitude and gives you bad eyes when you ask questions. I will never go back there again and when I called to complaint, she stated that the owner was out. The food is over priced and it’s hit and miss with flavor.

ill say the food is good but the lady with the racoon eyes always has a additude when you place a order or rushing you to order, my suggestion would be if you don't want to work or don't like working where you have to interact with people then go home, and get some rest cause them eyes look like you need it.

I can't believe I just paid $11 for a wing and a drumstick and some dry as hell yellow rice. I agree with some of the reviewers overpriced. Just charging ridiculous prices for nasty food, $9 for Turkey bacon egg and cheese on a long roll. I see y'all Going Out of business soon ???
