Tacos Don Memo serves hands down ā€œthe bestā€ Mexican food I’ve had—no question about it! Coming from a family with roots in central Mexico, I can confidently say their tacos instantly transported me back to the streets of Mexico, sitting next to my dad, savoring every bite. It felt like home—comforting, authentic, and absolutely delicious.

Even though I live in Hainesport, NJ, I never hesitate to make the trip for their food. Distance is no obstacle when the reward is this good! I even convinced my husband to come with me to their food truck, and we both ordered the al pastor tacos with their spiciest salsa and an ice-cold bottled Coke. Let me tell you—it was *amazing*. Flavor-packed, satisfying, and completely worth it. Tacos Don Memo never disappoints!

I highly recommend them to anyone craving genuine, flavorful Mexican cuisine. The food is phenomenal, the team is incredibly friendly, and while prices may be slightly higher than some, the generous portions and quality ingredients make it more than worth it. Support local and treat yourself to something truly special—you won't regret it!

Amazingly juicy, authentic, homy carnitas burritos. Wait is long, about 30-40 minutes, but I'd honestly wait an hour for it if I had to. Tried the al pastor on a diff occasion, and it is even better!! Also, don't be fooled by hours listed on Google maps. They are at Clark Park on Saturdays.

It was that very good truck where I’ve had the best burrito of my life (so far). Honestly it’s super tasty and the staff is super nice 5/5

Everything about this taco truck is perfection. The birria is sooooo good. The people who run this truck are so friendly and efficient at churning out good food. Best Mexican food in the city, imo.

I'd give this 5 stars had I known the tacos were going to be corn. Not a fan of the corn taco, but, if I was forced to pick a corn taco, this would be it. The fajitas were off the charts. The spicy sauce that came with the fajitas was delicious; I would buy it by the bucket. The guacamole is some of the best I've ever had. Didn't love the tomatillo sauce. Rice and beans were alright. The woman taking orders was ultra pleasant. The wait was long enough to let me know that my food was being made to order but not so long that my kids were screaming in the car. Nice little touch with the individually wrapped lime pieces.

Every day, we eat food that is just...food. A chocolate chip cookie is like any other chocolate chip cookie. Sometimes we notice when that basic food thing is a little special... did they brown the butter? Add sea salt? That's always nice.

And then there is the food that is more rare, that blows your mind away.

Folks, I know my tacos and breakfast tacos. I have had many in Austin and across Texas as well as other cities. The breakfast taco that I had today was...creative. Artfully put together. The carne asada taco was great too, but that breakfast taco? Will live in my memory.

You must try it.

Finally!!! The best tacos in the city. Been in Philly for a few years now after moving from CA & stumbled up on this place. Let me just say Don Memo is it!! Their birria con queso tacos are what I took for granted out west that just doesnt exist here in Philly. You want some amazing Mexican food that is every bit as good as the best of what LA and SF/Bay street food can offer this is your spot!!

Will be back whenever the taco craving hits (aka every 2-3 weeks)

got the breakfast burrito at the clark park farmer’s market; didn’t mind the wait, but the burrito itself was seriously under seasoned. my partner ordered the spicy, but the burrito had no spice and worse, no salt! had to go back to the truck to ask for hot salsa, and while that helped, the lack of seasoning was hard to overcome. the burrito is hot, well stuffed, and grilled, so if you’re not a big spice person, this one’s for you!
