You can get oxtails at 5 different places and they would all be slightly different. Im eating oxtails as often as my doctor allows and im hitting up different spots like Jamaican D's, Ricky's, and others in the area. My favorite spot for oxtail is TOTT. Tender meat, nice portion, steady quality. If you're thinking about trying TOTT or reading this review get the oxtail plate with rice and peas and the greens. Fire.

I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and beans with plantains which was very very good. I also ordered the curry shrimp which was also very well seasoned and delicious. The beef patties were good, but the chicken curry patties weren't as good. The service was very friendly, kind, and helpful with the menu. The amount of food was worth the price. I will return to try other delicious food on the menu.

I’ve been patronizing this establishment for years. I like to support my fellow people. With that being said, customer service is almost always horrendous. However, the lady currently at the front taking orders is pleasant and friendly. The food is ok, nothing exceptional like authentic Jamaican cuisine. My mom and I like their soups; our favorite is the cow foot soup. Our favorite dishes are Jerk Pork and cow skin. Their Oxtail needs to be cook a little more tender and Curry chicken is salty. You can tell they use their left over fried chicken for their brown stew chicken as it’s hard and VERY salty; I’m pretty sure they cook up their gravy with ketchup and just pour it over. Curry goat is OK. Their cabbage with mixed veggies is delicious but never consistent in the recipe. Also, IMO, their food tastes better and fresher on the weekends.

Hit or miss, like the other comment said. When I first started ordering from here the food was AMAZING, meat was tender, huge portions, seasoned very well. Lately the exact opposite. Meat is drier, less seasoned, and for some reason they always refund things and replace them with others. They need to update their Grubhub/etc. lots of things unavailable. Extremely small piece of salmon for $25. I'm not sure if there's been a different cook or some days are just slower than others. Really love this place dispite all of that, but it they keep it up I probably won't order from them anymore.

My platter was horrible. The Basa wasn't Basa, thin and SALTY!! The mac n cheese wasn't homemade, no cheese whatsoever & DRY! The cabbage serverly undercooked. I will not be wasting my money here again. Overall I felt like the food wasn't made with love or a commitment to produce fresh quality food to paying customers.
The Curry Chicken is the best I’ve had in the area. The food is always fresh and flavorful which is key for curry chicken. Friendly atmosphere and clean restaurant. My new favorite restaurant!

I have been ordering food from Talk Of The Town for years!! The Food is always delicious! I used them whenever I am having guests visit from out of town. I order medium trays of Oak Tails, Greens, Curry Goat .and Rice and Beans. My guest always rave about the food.Please try the Jerk Pork with the sauce on the side, that’s my husband’s favorite.The staff is so friendly and polite.Can’t wait to get some more.!
