A little outside the nutshell: A wide variety of Italian, Italian-American, & American foodstuffs packed into the little store. Homemade pasta, fresh-cut lunch meats, prepared foods, and they make sandwiches to order. (Thee best ravioli and cavatelli in the city--and probably beyond).
One rub: As mentioned, the store is small, almost comically small, so as soon as you walk in, you're either in someone's way or you feel like you are--but they make it work. Been around a long time.

Meh. We’re eating their shrimp ravioli now, zero taste of shrimp and no visible shrimp in the filling. Other raviolis equally just stuffed with bland cheese. Disappointing, not worthy of the Italian Market

Love Talluto's great place to pick up authentic Italian meals and delicacies. Fantastic...The place is small - real tight can only hold about 3 customers at a time so go during off peak hours. Park across the street at 9th and Carpenter
