We have wanted to try Talula's Garden for a long time. We live out in the suburbs of Philly so we don't get into the city very often. Our son-in -law was in the city for a conference. He lives in Louisville, KY so we wanted to see him and take him to a nice restaurant to help him remember his trip to Philadelphia. Talula's Garden was the perfect spot. The restaurant was welcoming....a lovely garden as you enter that leads into a very nice vibe with a lot of tables to manage the large crowds during the dinner hour. And I mean they have a REAL garden. They were harvesting figs from the trees for one of the dishes of the evening! Talula's has an interesting menu ...we wanted to lick our plates!...so good! We all tried an appetizer, an entrees, a side, and a dessert. Pleased 100% with our choices in all categories. My son-in-law will never forget the wonderful meal he had in a lovely spot in Philadelphia. We were happy to show off our near by city and visit Talula's after waiting way too long!

The food at Talula's Garden is always incredibly delicious and this visit was no exception. We had a lovely table outside where the noise level was perfect ( inside is sometimes too loud as you have to over the loud music) Service was also excellent. We will definitely be back.

Phenomenal! Grateful! The colors, flavors and plating were perfect! Loved the Albarino, as well.

Delicious and intimate. My husband and I enjoyed our food and time together. We will be returning soon!

Every single morsel was delicious. Service was amazing. Extremely pleased with my dining experience.

Food was good, ambiance was great, but something was very off putting about the eye rolling and bad service my friend and I received after we were shocked that the cheesy potato gratinee was just their “crispy potatoes” with what I only assume is a white cheese slice melted on top. I didn't appreciate the attitude the server gave us the rest of our meal, including our drinks arriving after our meal. Too many great places in Philly to be treated this way.

This is one of my favorite places in the city, never disappoints. Only concern I had was with the service, it was a little slower than usual, but still good.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and my partner enjoyed his also. My appetizer was the tomato peach burrata and for that alone I would dine there every day if I could. My partner had a dip with spinach but I was so into my app that I didn't pay much attention to his until he gave me a bite and I would highly recommend that also. My entree was the branzino and if I could've like the plate I would've. My partner had the chicken dish, which was melt in your mouth tender. The diners sitting next to us ordered the same entrees, in part, due to our exclamations of enjoyment of our food. No dessert for us this time but the offerings sounded incredible. The staff were friendly and attentive and the whole vibe was great. Don't miss out on this experience.

We had reservations for 6 for Sunday brunch. Tyler was our server. He was pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious with large portions. We enjoyed the atmosphere while dining. This restaurant is definitely one we will revisit.

Food is excellent - I had the pork chop, my vegetarian niece and veg husband visiting from the Bay Area had shrimp and salmon. Pork chop was flavorful, moist and tender. My niece also had the corn soup - so delicious; I couldn't discern the spices but it was flavorful without being hot-spicey; nice and slightly buttery. The biscuits and the beet salad (nice creamy and slightly nutty) were also flavorfully delicious. Service was top notch amazing. Nice atmosphere, great bar. My only wish was that our table had been in the main dining room - we were sat in the bar area despite having made reservations. I've been to Talula's before and I prefer the main dining room although sitting outside is nice too if it isn't too hot/humid. Excellent overall experience.

Lovely, professional staff, interesting, original and delicious food. Generous portions adding to the value. Comfortable, unpretentious interior. Looking forward to sitting outside after the heatwave!

Excellent restaurant, service, innovative menu and food preparation were all superb. Philly has some great restaurants and Talula's Garden is one of the best.

Consistently great service; attentive but never annoying. Food done beautifully and well-portioned. Tuna crudo appetizer is amazing and even for us omnivores, the vegan entree is satisfying and delicious. Come soon/come often!

We had a wonderful dinner at Talula's Garden! Both of our mains were delicious. The presentation and sauces in particular were outstanding. Highly recommended!

This was such a lovely neighborhood gem! Perfectly located across the street from the square. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The ambience is great for solo or even groups. I went for a Sunday brunch on my own when exploring the city. I ordered the Local Brunch and it was really tasty-generous portion. I also really liked their non-alcoholic beverage The Pilot. The service was delightful and I really enjoyed sitting in the outdoor patio area - it was covered so the rainy weather didn't stop me from enjoying my brunch. I highly recommend checking this place out!
