I got the Chicken Bento Box and let me tell you: this food was out of this world. I cannot express enough how amazing the food was: the chicken was juicy, full of flavor, and tender while the bento box had amazing side dishes that complimented each other pretty well. The food is also relatively cheap and they have a wide selection of different dishes, desert, etc. They were also really quick with the food and provided great customer service. I would definitely go again.

I got the beef bibimbap and everything tasted so yummy and fresh! The interior of the restaurant is really cute which made the whole experience very comforting. Their Gochujang sauce is also great 😋

My wife and I order from here maybe 1-3 times a month. They consistently forget sauces in our takeout or get something wrong. This most recent mess up was enough for me to leave a bad review. I’m a vegan who ordered veggie dumplings and they gave us pork. The food here is good. They just get it wrong more often than not. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I hope someone at this place sees this and does something. It’s the basics of what you’re selling. If you want to eat here, order in so you can complain in person.
Squid is very tasty.
Tried the dak-galbi and cucumber banchan which were both very good. Chicken was soft and well flavored. Cucumber banchan was also seasoned well where it wasn't overwhelming or hot.
Always a hit with the spicy chicken bento box!
I'm rarely compelled to write a Google Review (in fact, this might be my first) but Tampopo on 44th is such a treasured part of living in this neighborhood. The atmosphere is warm. The staff are attentive and kind. The food is delicious and high quality.
Some of the best food in west philly
This is one of my go-to spots for takeout. Never disappoints.
WHY IS THE SOONDUBU SWEET? It literally tastes like gochujang soup in the worst way! Not to mention unless you pay extra, it only comes with tofu, which is so cheap.

Quick early dinner in thd dining area, enjoyed steamed pork dumplings and beef bibimbop. Food and service were both top notch at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
Ordered the Korean ramen all it is instant ramen and they add chicken too it. Had the bimbop before which was good but still over priced. Just outraged about 15 dollars for instant ramen
Feels like homemade food in the best possible way. Staff are warm and service fantastic. Eat here!
Soondubu was overly sweet and barely had any garlic flavor. Kimchi as banchan cost 5(five) dollars. Very disappointing
The food is incredible tasty and fresh. My go to order is the chicken bimbimbob with a fried egg. Prices are pretty reasonable as well! You can dine in but it’s more of a take out vibe.
