Mushroom Quesadillas are spectacular! Tacos Dorados (queso) are also a personal favorite. Chips & Salsa, Guacamole also fantastic. Just a perfect place with consistent, awesome food.

My favorite taco place in Philadelphia period. I've been going there for 20 years. Spanish people eat there.

Came back to get a mushroom quesadilla after thinking about the one I got years ago…did not disappoint! The pico, rice and beans, and chips are great, and the mushroom quesadilla is better than I remember.

My favorite is the chili rellano tacos. They are so delicious and I love their sauces - both red and green are bangin!!!

I'm giving them a one-star review. The place was empty on a Friday night. There was a reason for this. The quesadillas were more like tacos -- and that was the good part. They seem to be losing money -- they are cutting corners wherever they can. This included very little sauce for the chips, three tortillas for the carne asada (which was advertised with cheese, but no cheese) and very little beans and rice. I mean, tiny amounts. The food was both bland and uninspiring. I remember a time when this was one of the best places in town for Mexican food. Not any more.

Delicious tacos and burritos as well as an array of entries featuring chicken, steak, and limited seafood. La Veracruzana has been consistently good for 20 years.Parking: Pay lot right next door.

In a neighborhood with lots of great taquerias, this place is the best. Good prices and great services too!

I gotten the beef tongue tacos that was $12 for 3 pieces. Typical price for these are $10-12 so price is good.Tacos came with cactus, cilantro, onions, lime. There was No Avocado, no Grilled jalapeño which disappointed me. It felt like they were holding out on those ingredients to save money. The positive: the tacos had good portion of meat.Taste: 8/10Customer service: 9/10Wait time was long but they were busy that day.

Very much enjoyed the beef tongue tacos. Guacamole was tasty and rich. Nice atmosphere and customer service. My companions enjoyed the meal as well. A place to visit again.

Great service and great food. The amount of food given was worth the money.

I have been eating at Veracirzana since the day it opened, I live around the corner and we order from them or eat in at least twice a week. We have always found their food to be well prepared flavorful and definitely worth the $$. However in the last two to three months the quality was of the food and well a the amount of food for your $ has drastically deteriorated. There is less of everything from onions to beans. I am sorry to say the other taquerias in the neighborhood have only been getting better, leaving Veracirzana behind. We will no longer frequent the taqueria.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants anywhere... Great mole, really good salsas and authentic al pastor. Their quesadillas are unique in that they're taco sized with queso Blanco in the tortilla... You get 3 per order and it's all you need.
