I ordered catering from taqueria morales for my girlfriend’s birthday party and they were amazing!! Were flexible with working within my budget and had my order hot and ready on time! My guests looooved the food and kept asking where it was from - the roasted veggies and black beans and rice were perfect for our mostly vegetarian crowd!! will be coming back for more and def recommend for catering!

Fantastic, family owned restaurant with great, authentic Mexican food. I love their quesadillas and birria, but really everything on their menu is great. Specials are also always a hit so highly recommend seeing what they have going on when you visit. You can definitely tell that the family cares and is passionate about making great food for their guests. Everyone that I recommend here loves it and betting you will too.

The sauce that came with their chips were spicyyyyyy 🌶️ not unbearable but not what we expected so just be warned!
I tried the huaraches with Al pastor. It was good. I would get it again. The think bottom layer reminded me of papusas
The group got elotes and various tacos. They all enjoyed their meals.

Quite honestly the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I was in Philly for a recent day trip and we stopped here for a bite to eat. The chips and salsa alone were fresh and I knew just from the chips and salsa we were in for a treat. The carnitas tacos were so moist and succulent. The al pastor, and birria tacos were just as good.
The owners were extremely nice and I’ve been on a hunt to find Mexican food as equally good here in Baltimore and have been unsuccessful. I’ll be coming back to Philly for many more day trips just for Taqueria Morales :)

Yo this place is the real deal! Got Birria tacos. You can tell when a place loves the food they put out. Spectacular. I wish I didn’t eat so fast so I could have added photos lol
I love churros and these definitely didn’t disappoint!!! They are served warm with filling, might be caramel I’m not exactly sure but it’s really good not to sweet goes with the churros perfectly. It also has the most filling I’ve ever had in a churro it literally exploded out when I bit it but they didn’t become soggy or anything and it was a good amount for $6.
I also got the birria tacos and they were delicious I love the flavors of the sauces. I will say these were the thinnest birria tacos I’ve ever had I would appreciate more meat. The green peppers that were served with them were so good with the tacos and the spicy red sauce !

I had a craving for atole and called ahead to check if it was something they offered. When I arrived, I realized atole is not on their menu, so I think they made it special for me! I had a whole heartwarming dinner (flautas) and dessert (pastel de tres leches). The appetizer alone had me smiling - beans are simple, but not everyone makes them right! I'm jealous of all of the people that have this restaurant in their neighborhood. 10/10 - food like my own Mexican Mom would have made.
