While on tour we stopped by this amazing place that's #BlackOwned and operated by people of color. The atmosphere is great. The bathroom is clean. The staff is attentive. Service is impeccable. Shout out to ALEXIS!! I had the Philly cheese steak and jerk chicken cheese fries. It was so good. The portions were a plenty. You have to go if you don't know about it. Again, shouts to Alexis. They have live DJ's on the weekends. I'm trying to be one. Haha. Get there. Get fed. Enjoy!!!

Came to Taste for first time over the summer, Now It’s my favorite cheesesteak place in the city. It’s right in the heart of city so it’s easy to get to. Great atmosphere and even better food. & even better people. Big shouts to O, Kev & the rest of the team. 10/10 everytime

Ashley was a great bartender. Every time I come to taste she’s always super nice and welcoming. She makes sure everybody at the bar has an experience. She’s down to earth. The food is fantastic. Drinks amazing. Music good. It’s a vibe. This is my 5th time here and I plan on coming back. Thank you so much

In town for work and decided to give Taste a shot. The cheesesteak was fantastic! Amazing flavor and the bread held up perfectly. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Great Experience from start to finish..When I walked it the place was very well lite,great music (not too loud not too low), nice and clean…Lexi greeted us and answer our questions…When we sat she came right over and took our order and brought out water for us. There was a bit a wait due to a larger order being placed prior to us, however it was very considerate for Lakia to inform us.
The Salmon Cheesesteak was DELICIOUS ?..100 ⭐️’s. It was definitely TASTY!? !
I rated 4stars because we wanted to dine outside as it was a beautiful day and there where not enough tables for us to sit.
The restroom was very clean and stocked and the decor was BREATHTAKING.

For someone coming from the Midwest with no exposure to authentic Philly cheesesteaks, this was a great spot to stop and enjoy my first cheesesteak. Portion size for one cheesesteak is massive — you can definitely share with others!

My first time visiting Philly so I had to try the cheesesteak. This place was highly recommended by our City Big Bus tour driver. I ordered a traditional cheesesteak with onions, sweet peppers & pickles on a plain roll hun. It was good but a bit salty for me. The portion is huge so I could only eat half. Very juicy, the meat was very tender & the bum was very soft! Also tried the cheese fries & just didn’t like them. I’ll stick to regular seasoned fries! Great service & very nice atmosphere! Very clean & great music! Overall I enjoyed it & highly recommend! Lakia was my waitress & she was awesome! Very sweet, professional & engaging!! Beautiful smile?

This is by far the best place to watch the game, to top it off, they have the best Cheesesteak variety in the entire tristate and LEX MAKES THE BEST DUSSE SIDECAR ON THE EASTERN
