We enjoyed a beautiful experience there with first-rate dishes and an efficient team and an impressive chef. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will no doubt return soon. Don't let the restaurant being in the basement next to a supermarket sway your decision to eat here. Tasty Place is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city and you can't beat the price anywhere. The food comes out very fast and everything you order is GOOD!

This is an affordable Chinese restaurant in a basement grocery store in Chinatown. You can fill up without breaking the bank here and the food is tasty as advertised.

I’ve been a regular customer here for years. Fresh food for cheap. I’ve been hearing that the service has slipped recently so my colleagues and I made a visit. The usual friendly mature petite Asian woman who runs the place was no where to be found. We placed our order and waited and waited and waited at lunchtime. Not crowded. Diners who entered after we did were getting their orders before us (table of 4). Other diners were waiting forever to pay at the register. Finally one colleague went to the kitchen to inquire about our orders. Apparently the waiter failed to give the order to the cook. He came back with another table’s order and barked something in derisive sounding Chinese at us. Friendly Mature Asian manager please come back before this hidden gem fractures into the abyss! We love this place but it needs oversight quickly. PS: upon leaving the restaurant the waiter realized his error and quickly apologized to us.
