Tequilas is by far the best restaurant for food, service and atmosphere. Every dish was delicious and beautiful! Not to mention they have the best margaritas in town. The staff makes you feel like you’re a friend and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re at home. If it’s your birthday, I highly recommend going to tequila!

We happened upon Tequilas while hunting for dinner without a reservation. They squeezed us in even though it was busy and the food was SO GOOD. So flavorful and traditionally Mexican while still being fun and new. Also the service was awesome, so kind and fast. Highly recommend

Had a truly fantastic meal here. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious. The Atún de Apache was our favorite dish of the night. Service was very friendly and helpful with choosing dishes. Can't wait to come back.

Excellent place! I ordered the atún apache and enchiladas suiza. Both were great. It’s understandable why it’s hard to get a reservation here. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I were very happy to hear that our favorite Mexican restaurant in Philadelphia had reopened. We were excited to try the new menu, and we were not disappointed. We had Guacamole and Tamal de Acelgas to start along with Cadillac and mezcal margaritas. Our main dishes were Chile Relleno and Enchiladas Suizas. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. It's great to have this long-time Philly favorite open for business.

Well hot Diggity dog. A Mexican restaurant that leaves all others in the rearview mirror, very much not typical but very delicious. ceviche tequilas, perfect, fun to look at and just as tasty, not over acidic or spicy, served cold as should be, my personal favorite appetizer. four of us and we tried and shared almost all, nopalito's also delish.
After the first round we were chatting with Edith the bartender and drinking Tequila and specialty cocktails, very enjoyable, a bit loud, but many people in the room, i seen lots of people taking pictures of food and drinks, i think that means they were happy.
Enchiladas Suizas, Chile Relleno are recommended, desserts get them all!! soooo good and not to be missed.

One of the great fine dining Mexican restaurants in the USA. Located in a beautifully restored 150+ year building in a fabulous part of downtown Philadelphia. Reopened after a 2 year closure due to a kitchen fire. Extraordinary selection of authentic tequila and mezcal. Delicious food here. We ate guacamole, shrimp and steak.

Outstanding Food and Service. I had Rellanos and my spouse had the Barramundi fish. Both cooked to perfection. We are so glad they reopened.

The interior is gorgeous, the staff are quick, attentive, and very friendly, and the food is incredible. I ordered the Caesar salad (huge - you'll share it), mole dulce (fried pork belly in mole sauce - genuinely one of the best things I've ever eaten), and the jericalla tapatía (Guadalajaran custard with crunchy cinnamon topping, and little cuts of strawberry and pineapple) for dessert. 10/10 for every item.
Spouse ordered the ceviche, chile relleno, flan, and their version of an old fashioned with masa.
It's a tad spendy but worth every penny.

Run don’t walk. Best meal in a long time.
Highlights were incredibly professional and friendly service carried by a light mood, thoughtful margaritas, curated agaves selection, refreshing appetizers (guacamole with fresh tuna), perfect handmade tortillas to pair with entrees (especially the pork belly in mole dolce, mole that was entirely made in house), and the BEST flan i’ve ever had and a mouth-watering hoja santa concha.
Do yourself a favor and try this food ASAP

I’ve been here a few times and always enjoy myself. The food and service are both always good.
Tonight especially not only was the food as great as always, but Laura who was our waitress was one of the friendliest people while taking care of us. We’ll definitely be back😇

5 stars all around!
Tequilas is a great restaurant to go to for a nice meal or even just to have drinks at their bar. They have prompt and friendly service, as well as waiters who make great menu recommendations. Their meals/drinks are also very reasonably priced.
I can’t wait for them to reopen!
