The food was very good, but I was upset when the Cantonese-speaking server added a tip as a service fee without asking me.

Can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. All extremely delicious. The portion sizes are also quite large which is awesome if you’re really hungry. The waitresses are truly friendly and incredible. The only small note I have is that the restaurant is a bit cramped if you have a mid/large sized party.

I come here once every couple of months. I prefer the Chinatown location but this location is better for my handicapped mother-in-law. The staff was helpful and accommodating with getting her to her seat. The food is good. One of the best bowls of Ramen in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, while eating at the bar, several baby cockroaches emerged from the underbar LED light strip and fell into my drink. So gross. I know it’s hard to manage pests in the city but they need to do better. The staff was adequately remorseful, moved us to a different table, and gave us a comped dessert but I had lost my appetite.

I was very excited to visit this place as it was favorite Ramen restaurant in Philly.
The service lady tried to rush customers into ordering. She made a face when I asked for more time. Moreover, they automatically added a tip of 18% without my permission.
I absolutely detest the place and will not dine here in a foreseeable future.

The server is so mean. The food is perfect. But I don't think i would ever come back because of the service.

Best noodles and chashu by far out of any ramen place I’ve tried in ucity. Ordering and picking up takeout was quick, easy, and organized.

A must try ramen spot in Philly!
We had a great experience at Terakawa! For appetizers, we ordered the croquette and it was delicious but we were a little surprised by the small portion size. For ramen, I had the vegetarian miso ramen and my partner had the tan tan ramen. Both were fantastic but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Tan Tan Ramen next time. The broth was rich, flavorful and had so much depth compared to the lighter miso broth.
The restaurant itself is super cute with cozy and warm vibes. Our server was attentive and provided great service throughout. I'm 100% coming back to try more of their ramen and appetizers!

One of the best ramen places I've been so far while also being budget friendly. There are plenty of choices and add-ons available to customize your order. My personal favorite: the spicy ramen.

This place will satisfy your ramen craving, but it won't blow your mind.
We started with the tempura shumai. They serve six battered and deep fried shumai, three on each skewer. The tempura was crispy, but the shumai didn't have much shrimp flavor, just a lot of doughy chewiness. Still, it comes with a spicy sauce that's umami-rich and easily soaked up by the tempura coating. A good starter.
The ramen is good enough. The noodles are fresh and tender. The pork belly melts in your mouth. We tried both the signature and the miso ramen, and I think the miso was better. But there was nothing special about either.
The place was crowded, but that adds an energetic ambience. One issue: they clearly do a lot of Uber eats takeout, you see tons of to-go food heading out the door, and the drivers hold the door open, so it was drafty and cold on a very chilly night when we were trying to warm up with hot broth.
Overall, it was a good, filling meal at a fair price. I'd go back.
