Went at 1030 am for a Texas weiner but they didn't have any even tho that's the name of place. Got the breakfast sandwich which was good.

While it's vibe feels like a cramped diner you can't actually eat in, I mean that in the best possible way. I visited Philly to spend a week with my sister, and despite how elbow to elbow you might feel ordering and waiting for your food, the lady behind the counter who I can only assume owns the place makes you feel right at home. I probably reeked of tourist, and all the same, my order was taken and I felt more than comfortable being able to chat back and forth with my sister, her partner, and the order taker without feeling even remotely across the country. Then there was the food... I only had breakfast there twice, and I'm only disappointed I couldn't have had every breakfast there. The home fries were easily some of the best I've ever had, with a perfect crisp to the outside while being nice and creamy in the center, and the onions and peppers only added some extra texture and flavor. The pork sausage omelette was about all I could ever ask for from a diner style omelette. I'm hoping to visit again next year, and I know for certain I'll be wanting to start the next morning here. Keep being awesome! Much love from Oregon.

Went Apr 15 '25. Good. It is takeout only. I got three pieces of french toast, two over easy eggs, two pork sausage links, and a medium coffee for about $11, and it was all good (not so much the coffee black, but it was a great price at $1.75, so I won't complain).

I want to leave a 5 star Review, because they had five star service and the vibes were on 100. I was even a dollar short, and this was my first time day going there and they honored me by, letting me bring the money back later. Definitely Stop by there if you want some authentic food

Not what it used to be, not the feel of a family establishment
