One of the rarer gems that are not a "thing" yet! Pretty authentic Mexican foods! Little pricier side, but foods great!

This Mexican restaurant is off the beaten path so it is far less crowded compared to the other Mexican options down on Main Street. It is also cheaper and you get a decent amount of food for the prices. The restaurant is huge, which is good for large groups, and the atmosphere has a very cool Mexican vibe. My favorite place to sit is outside on the cute patio during the warmer months. The tacos, quesadillas, and fajitas are all delicious and you get free chips and salsa when you sit down. The biggest downfalls of this restaurant are the drinks and the service. The margaritas are made with mix and aren't very authentic. I'd recommend getting a Corona if you are picky on margs. The service is hit or miss. It can be painfully slow sometimes and the server tends to disappear for long periods of time when the restaurant isn't even that busy. Besides those things, I would definitely visit and sit outside and enjoy some beers and good Mexican food!

The tacos are my favorite in the Roxborough/manayunk area (they melt the cheese right in!). They also have a pretty good happy hour and a cute environment. I can't wait to sit outside during some nicer weather on their patio

Tried to go here one night, a while back. Sat for 30 minutes and no one came to take my friend and I order. The place wasn't crowded or busy. We just got up at left. Won't be back. Unfortunate because it's so cute.

If you are a Texan who grew up eating all varieties of good Mexican food, I would save my money. I don't know how this place gets so many good reviews... looking over people's comments I think that most of what people like from here is not the more traditional dishes.

I have never seen such an unprofessional disgusting rude restaurant in all my life. They should not offer take away if they take no information down nor should they have who ever they have as a manager (if a manager was even there who knows). I made an online order for pick up on their website, at 9:15/20 and was given a 20/25 minuets window. Their website says they email confirmation after an order is placed. no confirmation so I called on the phone as i knew it was kinda late. they did not ask my name; order number, nothing just "well what did you order" I repeated the order and they said they had it and to come pick it up at 9:50 I asked "do you want my name?" they said no just come get it later. so I arrived a bit late at 10:00 exactly the doors were locked, no phone answered and I had to flag down an employee that was leaving that took me in through the back (at first telling me to just go back there myself but I did not feel comfortable doing so). went in through the back only to be bombarded with an order of " can you go out of the kitchen and wait in the dining room" again they don't direct me so I have no idea where I'm going so have to verbally ask "Please can you lead me out there" In my confusion I step on a rat trap (EW) and now my shoes are sticky and ruined. at first i'm told aggresively that i've already picked up my order which is obviously not the case. I insist how can you not have my food I called and everything to double check they don't know they can't help and are happy to send me on my way empty handed at first as I believe they think I'm somehow trying to swindle them or something. I asked if the owner was around they said no. I asked for a number to reach them to make my complaint known come to find out later they just gave me the restaurant number lol. I start my walk home only for them to run out as to flag me down "oh we found your order someone put it at the bar to wait" I asked how come no one checked before sending me on my way and the excuse I got was "someone ordered the EXACT same 3 things with the exact same extras and additions and they picked it up before me so they thought I already had it even though I had shown up empty handed and obviously they should have received 2 orders anyway. I was given a 50% off discount and I really wish I had I had just left the cold soggy congealed food and taken my money elsewhere but pregnancy craving were really calling for Mexican food. It was awful I couldn't eat any of the fries and basically re toasted the sandwich bread. will never recommend and will never return. 0/5.

So we frequent Adobe Cafe at least once per month, especially on a Monday or Tuesday for their Fiesta Nights. You get 2 dinners and your choice of bottle of wine, pitcher of beer, pitcher of margaritas, or sangria for $35. Can't really beat that. We are normally sat in either Tiffany's or Monica's section, in our opinion they are the best servers there! The only reason I can't give them a five-star, is that they never initially include enough tortillas with dishes that obviously will need more.

If you are anywhere near northwest Philadelphia this place is a must go. All I have to say is STEAK TIPS! The food, the service and the atmosphere outmatch anything in the neighborhood. If your looking for a relaxed amazing night this is the place. Ask so be seated with Jon and you will not be disappointed!

Sorry, this danged app will only let me leave 5 stars. I really wish i could rate it with 5 million. I've been coming here forever and it's always been an amazing experience! Steak tips steak tips steak tips steak tips steak tips!!!!!!! The fiesta night deal is the absolute greatest deal you'll find in the roxborough/manayunk area. 35 dollars for 2 entrees and your choice of a bottle of wine or a pitcher of sangria, margarita, or beer. LONG LIVE THE ADOBE CAFE!!!!!

I don't care what anyone thinks.... Adobe for life! I'd eat there and drink their margaritas all day long. I just wish they'd use fresh limes instead of a margarita mix.

Went there for lunch. I'd first like to preface this by saying our server was very nice and this review is meant as no reflection upon her. We ordered seitan quesadillas. Our seitan tasted like it has been frozen at some point and gotten freezer burnt. It came out cold, cheese was hardly melted. I'm certainly glad I decided against going with their vegan version, as the strange cream they put on top of my boyfriend's quesadilla tasted like, I don't know, wood or something. That sauce should really be on the side, as most places serve sauces and sour creams. For the price you pay, it is hardly worth the long wait for mediocre food. Atmosphere isn't the worst, but definitely not an exceptionally clean or exciting place. Also, the location of the changing table in the ladies' room should be reconsidered. I feel bad for the moms who have to change their babies right by the door to get in the bathroom as well as guests who are forced to have to walk past a baby being changed. It's uncomfortable for everyone. Oh, and that's also the location of the trash can so good luck throwing your paper towel away if a mom is changing a bad diaper. I'm sure everyone would appreciate a little more privacy with that.
