The revamp and re-release of this venue has been amazing. Ravi and the crew did a phenomenal job of turning the place around.
Was popping off and everything was top-notch service wise when I went recently. I'll be back!

ETA: Thanks for the reply, not only not being apologetic whatsoever, but also blaming me. I never picked up the receipt tray so not sure how it would have slipped off. Several people looked on the ground around me and did not see it. And I was literally not angry at all. I told her Iād lock my credit card and check back later if they found it and I left a tip. Could I have been more annoying about it? Yes definitely, but I wasnāt. No one asked me if I wanted to open a tab and not sure why you even care if someone opens a tab or pays repeatedly one million times or how thatās my problem. I wouldnāt have opened a tab anyway because I didnāt plan to stay at the Barbary all night. The point of my review was to let people know that you guys donāt really care if you make a mistake and your reply to my review just kind of confirms that. Just weird and rude.
They lost my credit card in the 10 seconds between me handing it to the bartender and her swiping it. She handed me the receipt tray without my credit card on it. I asked where my card was and she said she āthought she gave it back to meā and told me to check the ground around me. She looked around behind the bar but couldnāt find it and basically said she was too busy for this and to check back later to see if they found it. Never got my card back and had to cancel it. They were not apologetic at all. I had literally just arrived when this happened and went the rest of the night without a card to use. Thanks guys!!

Best venue I've been to in Philly for dancing. With the two floor, a lounge, and a patio, there's really something for every stage of the night! The size is just perfect that it feels large enough to groove, and not be suffocated. The ventilation must be magic. Bar staff are out of this world! And wildly enough, the bathrooms were a huge highlight of the venue - super well kept all night, clean, comfortable, and just, wow. Never thought I'd praise a dance hall for its bathroom but here we are. Great lineups, fantastic crowds. Let's keep this space great āØ well worth a visit and a long evening out!

Never going to another club. Two floors, super cool and well ventilated, great sound and lights, attentive and friendly bar staff. They even had team members proactively cleaning the dance floor and restroom areas. Highly recommend this place for dancing.

In my opinion, they did a great job with the renovations. 2 floors, great sound and lights. Itās like a mini WoW with a hint of Flash in DC. If you want quiet, and a space to relax, to take a break from the music, thereās a room on the second floor. Took forever to reopen, but now I see why. 5 years in the making.
I recommend getting here EARLY or you will be waiting in a line. No re-entry.

the place is a charm-less maze where the jumpscare is a 5'5 rent a cop who circles the dance floor like a school dance chaperone. but wait, there's more! they also have a dude with mop who wanders around and takes his job seriously enough to make me almost worry about his well-being. The bonus is that if you're having too much fun, The Mop & The Cop will hover around you with the the aura of a portapotty.
drinks are watery and overpriced, but the bartenders are extremely nice and good at their jobs.
