We love board games and some of us are vegan. We had great food wonderful coffee and tea and a couple hours of board games. It doesn't get much better than this! The falafel were out of this world! (edited for typos)Vegetarian options: Vegan options too! Plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.

Stopped in to see what they had for breakfast. The food was AMAZING! I had the Steel Cut Oats with the pineapple & date compote and it was super. I also had the sausage patties which tasted like a trip back to my childhood... perfectly seasoned and so, so good. After the more than satisfying meal I visited upstairs and there I was greeted with what was probably 500-1,000 games, card decks, puzzles and every manner of brain teasers. I can't wait to come back with a group and get some gaming going!Vegetarian options: On the breakfast menu there are some options.Kid-friendliness: The game floor has an abundance of kid-aged games.

I went there and I do remember how much I spent but they swiped from my card more than it was. Be careful and if you can pay by cash, they abuse credit card charges.

This place has amazingly delicious specialty lattes but unfortunately this has not been a quick turnaround, make sure you have time to wait and not in a hurry as it can take some time to make.

Full service + board game library upstairs ($5 per person to take out a game) and Cafe downstairs. Lots of veg + vegan options and interesting coffee + tea flavors. Tons of board games and a private room for events in the back upstairs.

The old bay fries were easily the crispiest and some of the best fries I’ve had. The tomato soup was great - although the grilled cheese was pretty cold and stale by the time it got to us. Service was extremely slow and we waited over 45 minutes for a box and a check but it was Sunday so I’m sure they were swamped. Everyone but our server helped us mainly lol. The latte was good but the pour over coffee was not made correctly and very bad.

I totally give this place 4 stars. I mean, everyone was super friendly & the spot was clean, overall pleasant, and they even serve alcohol! I was introduced to this place by a friend (hopefully more one day;) & I loved it. I totally recommend this spot!! k.David

Food had bad representation and took extremely long to arrive. The food also came out cold specifically the fries. There were also annoying kids yelling while playing boards games. The food was also extremely overpriced. and you had to pay five dollars a person to play board games. my salad also arrived with hair in it. and along look with all of that crap the waiters were extremely strange

Nice concept, pricey menu, soup too salty, nice accommodating staff.

They skimp a lot on stuff here. Asked for whipped cream and they gave me the tiniest amount possible and I paid extra for caramel just for them not to even give me the caramel syrup on my drink. Also asked for very light ice and they gave me a lot. Don't think they listened to any of my modifications/add ins that I paid for and it was obvious

I want to start by saying that I've gone to Board & Brew a few times, and I've always enjoyed the food and the games, and the service has been good. I've also reserved a table before with no issues. Overall, it has always been a great experience. However, this time, on 1/28/24, I had reserved a table for my group using the contact form on their website. I received a confirmation from an actual person and not an automated response (a plus for me) and a text message confirmation the day before my reservation that I also responded to. When a member of my group arrived a half hour before the reservation, they were told there was no reservation. When I arrived 15 minutes before, I was told the same. I explained to the woman at the front how I had made the reservation and that I had received confirmations, but she told me that it wasn't in their book for the day and it would be at least a 2 hour wait, so there was nothing she could do. Despite traveling into the city from the suburbs, we had to just leave because we couldn't afford to wait hours to be seated. I'm very disappointed by this, and I'd love to continue going to Board & Brew, but I can't see myself doing that if making reservations doesn't seem to be effective. Update: Within 5 minutes of posting this review, Michael Chmar, one of the owners and the person who set up my reservation in the first place, looked up my phone number from the original reservation, called me, and we discussed what happened. He accepted full responsibility that this should not have happened, said he will address this tomorrow, and promised to email me and let me know once this is resolved. For that, I'm changing my original 1 star review to a 5 star review because I believe that a good faith attempt will be made to make this right, and this was handled promptly and professionally.
