Breakfast here was awesome. I had the THIT KHO HASH and I was in heaven. I also asked for STRONG coffee and my request was answered perfectly with a smile. It was full within 30 minutes of opening so get there early. I would have been happy to sit there all day and work through the menu.

Super friendly staff. The whole place was just the perfect breakfast cafe. One of those unique places where what you want and what you get are the same thing.

Got breakfast here this morning. The omelette was very hearty and tasty, though my breakfast buddy wasn't a fan. Personally, I loved the interesting menu options and the Vietnamese coffee and the decore are great. I say 4 and not 5 stars, because it's really too loud in there. Some sort of sound dampening would be great as I had to shout to have a conversation across the table.

I came across an article regarding their congee (cháo) during my trip to Philly and I had to stop by. I’m so glad I did. This little cafe was packed on a Sunday morning but the staff are very efficient and friendly. Expect a little wait if you are a group of 5+.

As a Saigon born and raised Viet, I usually find food at fusion restaurants lacking authentic flavors. It is not the case at all at The Breakfast Den! We ordered Cháo gà (Chicken congee) and Thịt Kho Hash and were blown away by how delicious the food was. Bonus point for the most adorable corner storefront and little trinkets inside.

We had some of their lemonades, matcha latte, eggs and pancakes. Everything tasted really good and came out fast. The only thing was that the sausage patties were a little bit dry but they still tasted really good. Would definitely come again.

The number 1 thing i look for in a bahn mi: is the bread fresh? YES! I came here on a random Tuesday afternoon and the bread was tasty and fresh. Fresh herbs. I got the crispy tofu which felt like it was prepared freshly battered as well. You can see the kitchen from the counter and everything looked clean. I ordered to go and the guy told me 15 min but i think i was waiting for no longer than 10.

I ate outside on their dog friendly patio. Cute spot!

Next time i might try their breakfast food. Didnt realize it was a dine in place with wait staff.

The price is unreasonably high — $15 for egg and porridge, and $6 for a matcha latte, but even at Dunkin’ the matcha tastes better. I ordered it to go, and they didn’t even include a spoon for the porridge.

Try the summer sang rolls, they were excellent and came with a great dipping sauce. Recommended.

TBD hosted my husband’s 40th birthday party and everything went smooth like butter. Thai (owner) made sure to discuss everything in prep for the party and she is very flexible and creative in formulating a menu that suits your flavor profile. She created a Bun Cha Hanoi summer roll as my husband’s roll because he loves that dish. The dishes were amazing… my favorite was the mini Thit Kho Hash with a quail egg. Everyone was raving about the food especially the spring rolls. The hand crafted drinks were delicious- my fave was strawberry matcha oat milk! Yumoh. Oh and the pastry chef created a delicious and dare I say, moist, vanilla cupcakes with a decadent lychee buttercream frosting. I can’t say enough good things about the food and service. Highly recommend. TBD is a must for breakfast or brunch! 10/10

This is absolutely one of our most favorite restaurants. The choices are creative and well executed. The service is always friendly and thoughtful. The restaurant itself presents a warm and engaging atmosphere. This is one terrific breakfast/lunch place! Enjoy.

Went with my 3 yr old and was able to find food for both of us. I had the special, which was unique and delicious especially with the Rau Ram fresh herbs! The atmosphere was calm even though the place was busy, and service was pleasant and quick

I was so excited to finally try this place, and it did not disappoint! I ordered a Hibiscus Lemonade that was awesome, and, the true star, the Keep It Lite, Quinoa salad. The homemade lemon basil honey dressing blew my mind. The portion was massive, so it was not only very worth it cost-wise, but it was big enough that I could take half home to enjoy later. Definitely stop by here if you're in Philly or a local like me who hasn't tried it yet!

Fancy breakfast? Why not? It’s a nice place, I like the atmosphere. The porridge is tasteful, and the coffee is good too. The downside is only it’s quite pricey.
