Don’t wanna sound rude but this place is sooooooo overrated and over priced. Unless I’m getting wagyu why is this little tiny steak $70 is nothing special it was a regular ny strip. The food was not that tasteful. For the money we spent, expected much more better service and better food. Could’ve went across the street to Fago de Chao.

Service and atmosphere were great; however food was quite bland and nothing special after spending over $100 on myself for my birthday dinner.

A bit too smokey as we sat by the kitchen. The food was good but was not as great as Eddie V's.

I took my fiancé here for his birthday and the best thing in this restaurant was the water and the lemon drops. We had a reservation and showed up on time and still had to wait about 5-10mins before being seated. I ordered a passion fruit mojito and it was disgusting. It tasted like the medicine you would take if you had a sore throat. We then decided to order appetizers and we got the lobster and crab cake and the pan fried calamari. That was okay, nothing special. My fiancé ordered a bowl of lobster bisque and it tasted like it came out of a can. We will not be returning to this restaurant. However, if you’re looking for a great restaurant McCormick and Schmick’s is right down the street.

We ordered a medium steak at this restaurant, but both steaks we received were almost well-done. It was clearly overcooked and we pointed this out to our server. She cut into the center of the meat, acknowledged it immediately, and made me a new steak. The new meat was a satisfactory medium cooked steak. After that, the manager came and checked again to make sure there was no problem.
Overall, I think the service here is top notch. The distance between seats is appropriate, so it's not uncomfortable, and the interior is also great. I just think the quality of the steak taste wasn't as great as I expected. I think it's a great place to go to set the mood for a special day, or just have a glass of wine with a light menu. However, if your goal is to experience the best steak taste, we recommend going elsewhere.

Appealing and nice. A little loud. Business type vibe and crowd. Menu short to the point . Serice was nice and food was good . One of the best espresso martinis ive had

The food was excellent as usual. The service sitting at the bar was subpar. I couldn't get my water glass refilled. The ladies room was out of paper towels. Small things that shouldn't happen at Capital Grille. Also, I couldn't get a cappuccino because the espresso machine has been down for "several days". Unacceptable!

Food was very good. Not as outstanding as we hoped. It was the first time we tried it. Medium rare NY Strip was medium. Sides were excellent. Desserts were nothing spectacular. Service was good not great. Flemings and Del Friscos are better. Most of all too many people in ripped jeans and tee shirts. that may sound old fashioned, but when I am paying 85 for steak I dont want to see people dressed for McDonalds.

Great service yet overly expensive. You pay for the ability to say you dined there. The food was nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not worth the exorbitant prices listed on the menu.
Brian the manager is awesome. The doorman William? (i forgot his name) was cool and he suggested the crab + lobster cakes. They were fire. Definitely recommend.
