Best avocado mash with egg I ever had! Very good service, even though there was a Mother's Day crowd.

Food was excellent. Got the Korean Fried Chicken. Had both frozen drinks. Absolutely lovely. The server was very nice. Table was slightly small because we enjoyed so much food. Loved the decor. Highly recommend.

We have been to Continental many times in the past, but we were disappointed this time. The dishes are now much smaller, and the food is not as good. We spoke to others who were leaving the restaurant who had the same experience.

Great brunch atmosphere and service, the swinging seats upstairs really added to the experience. Good pricing and value with the meals, the best dish for my table was the avocado toast, would come back 👍🏾

Great food. William (Bill) was excellent. Our new favorite dessert is the Brookie (warm deep dish brownie-chocolate cookie with vanilla gelato).

Fantastic hip brunch spot with a wide variety of their unique dinner items and elevated brunch favorites. Service excellent. Highly recommend Chilaquiles, but with poached eggs and a peach mimosa!

Horrible food, they rushed us and the waiter had an attitude, plus it was my friends birthday smh

I find the quality of their meals and drinks to be of very low qualityand too high price. I had a burger with two very small patties. The meat had no flavor and topping were stabbed on. For a $19.00 burger, there could be a better presentation and had a better quality of toppings. The french fries were dull. In addition, the alcohol drinks are watered down to taste any alcohol. A well known trendy restaurant of Philadelphia should be better quality food.

I used to go to the Continental Mid-Town for drinks frequently when I was younger, but never actually had dinner there. It had probably been about 12 years since I was last there, so I figured I would take my wife here for dinner and see how the food was. I always liked the vibe in this place, it's very energetic and lively. Unfortunately, now that I'm older and just wanted to have a conversation with my wife over dinner, I realized how loud it is in this place. The music is blaring like I'm in a club and my wife and I had to scream at each other all night. But I tried to not let that put a damper on my evening. We each ordered a drink while we decided on our meal choices and they were excellent! However, the food was not as excellent. We ordered chicken lettuce wraps for our appetizer and it was just okay. I got crab pasta and my wife got curried shrimp. Both were decent but not amazing. I guess this place really is a better drinking spot than a date night dinner place. With that being said, the prices were reasonable for a center city restaurant, definitely lower than some of the surrounding restaurants. So or what I paid, the food was pretty good. It didn't wow us but we still enjoyed it. f We did not venture up to the rooftop bar, which is the highlight here. I've spent many drunken nights at that bar and had a ton of fun. So if I go back to the Continental, I'll most likely just go there for drinks at the rooftop bar. I'll call out that the drinks were around the same price or almost the same price as the main dinner choices, so be prepared for an expensive night of drinking if that's what your here for. Final rating - This is a fun place to hang out with really good drinks, but don't expect a fine dining or even upscale dining experience. As long as you go in there with this expectation, the Continental is a go-to Philly spot!
