The Continental Mid-town

Very cool restaurant located closet to Rittenhouse Square. We went there for Sunday brunch and ate in the enclosed upstairs patio area. We had the monkey bread, the pastrami fried rice and the bagel with lox. Everything was excellent and our server was wonderful. I think her name was Sally or Sailor.

Great vibe, great service. Food is good - wouldn't call this a foodie destination but overall good. sort of an asian fusion mix but you could get a burger too. Fun place, central location. Good value.

The Food,the service was quick. The Place warm enough for Winter Time.. My son had a great time on his 10th Birthday.

We had a great meal and wonderful drinks. Our server was really great. Atmosphere is very cool. Dining area is really loud, just a heads up if you were hoping to having a conversation over dinner. Would visit again!

Great food, atmosphere, and staff, however, I ordered a Bloody Mary and I was almost finished my drink when I realized I forgot I had even ordered an alcoholic beverage because there was hardly any alcohol in it. I almost asked the staff if I accidentally ordered a mocktail. I was better off ordering tomato juice and saving the money. Skimping on alcohol comes off as stingy and cheap, which is embarrassing for a supposed up-scale restaurant. Surprising and disappointing.

We had a great serve- her personality was so fun! Food was delicious and my guests love the fusion concept.

Mikaela is a superior server. She made the experience so much more enjoyable than it was already! The Korean Fried Chicken portion is huge and it was delicious. The bao buns are the tastiest we've had. The seasonal pumpkin spice cake dessert with cranberry orange sorbet is unforgettable. Great and friendly staff and a fun evening!

We have always enjoyed the Continental over the years and recently we decided to return.
The legendary Starr service is still in effect as is the excellent food. A great place for a drink or a romantic dinner or even a group. Be sure not to check out the roof deck even when it's cold. Cocktails are it's signature and they also continue to be another staple

Took a trip down from New York just to get the Ahi Tuna dish that’s made its way back on the menu - one of my favorite dishes of all time. Michayla S. was extremely kind and accommodating, and truly made the night special. So grateful to her for a wonderful meal. Hope to return soon!

Pretty good overall! I came here on a Saturday for brunch and was able to be seated right away. Food and service were very good. Egg breakfast sandwich had nice flavor. I liked the retro diner feel

I have passed the Continental for years. We were late for breakfast and decided to try brunch here. What a fantastic decision. We were seated graciously even without reservations. Most important, our food was amazing. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and I had the soba old noddles. Each dish was delicious and very attractively plates. Our server was adorable! We cannot wait to return!!!

Horrible experience. Bad vibes… we felt unwelcome from the moment we walked in the door. When seated our server was annoyed we were ordering towards the end of the brunch, and then forgot our drink order. Then when we asked the runner who brought our food if our drink order was coming, she very rudely said, I can’t help you with that. There are so many other gems of restaurants in this neighborhood… go elsewhere.
