4 friends had different meals, all were delicious. That's all you can ask. We'll be back the next time we go to the Mann.

So, THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I actually really love the food here and used to order takeout frequently when I lived in Manayunk. I don't anymore but we happened to be in the neighborhood today (me, my boyfriend, our 12 month old & our small French Bulldog) and wanted to dine outside at the Couch Tomato. I walk in seeing a sign stating that I need to talk with SOMEONE about dining in or outside. There happens to be a girl who works there standing directly behind the counter where the sign was located. I inquired about a table for 2 adults, 1 baby & a dog outside. HER EXTREMELY DRY RESPONSE WITH A TWISTED UP FACE was I should ask her manager or someone behind the counter (she was behind the counter lol but okay). So, I turn my attention to the manager who's lost in his laptop sitting at the front on a bar stool. I ask about dining outside and he extremely nonchalantly tells me "Should be 10-15 minutes. All the tables are full". My only problem with this was there was no further direction i.e where should we wait? When a table is finally free who's showing us where to go? But I got NOTHING. I walked outside and awkwardly stood on the corner with my family before deciding to just go. Look, I've worked as a bartender/server for over 5 years. I'm only 28. So I get it, a steady Tuesday no one is rushing to do work, but we came there to spend money. Bottomline. So to be treated like a nuisance was lame. I'll never come back here. Not even for takeout.

Really a truly wonderful spot. The fish tacos used a mock fish fillet that I've never tried before and it was a wonderful texture without tasting weird to me (I don't like the taste of meat or fish anymore). The sauce in the taco was absolutely delicious. I love how they use vegan spreads even in sandwiches that aren't vegan. Con: they use the word "plant based" instead of vegan, which encourages stigma of the word vegan. Their vegan items are labeled "PB" in the menu, and I had to ask in order to figure out what that meant as there was no labeling.

If you are looking for an awesome salad look no further than couch tomato cafe. They have a diverse amount of options from sandwich's to soups and pizza. The cool thing about coach tomato that pretty much their entire menu allows you to customize your order. If you like the idea of "create your own" couch tomato is the spot for you! In addition with inflation and all couch tomato is always one of those affordable options when skimpering around Main Street. An added bonus, they have great vegan and vegetarian options.

Manayunk is hands down my new favorite neighborhood in Philly. Close enough to get you to all the actions of the city, but far enough to feel like a completely different world. Our family in town has strong ties with this spot and hyped it up several times before I got to visit. Their lunch special and outdoor dining, although small and tucked away, didn't feel cramped or congested. The staff was super attentive but not overbearing and had great suggestions for a newcomer like me. Is there a way you can cancel out the calories of an IPA with a veggie burger? Asking for a friend.

After visiting The Couch Tomato Cafe today my daughter left very uncomfortable, when she came in to pickup my order the young lady at the front counter asked her name and after telling her a couple times she came back with the order with a remark that she's only use to hearing European names, now my daughter's name is of African descent and I don't know why she would had made that remark because no one asked her name when she placed my order. Her name came up because it's associated with her phone number and she is a frequent patron at the restaurant. The young lady remark was rude and ignorant, and has left us not wanting to visit again.

First time ever trying this, when it was sent to our office by a customer of ours. Never heard of it prior to this. The sandwiches were all so good! Fresh ingredients and just the right amount. I'd be really happy if this place comes to Jersey anytime in the near future. You won't be disappointed. I don't think there are many places around that offer this kind of delicious, made to order sandwich

I've been here 3 times since Christmas! Once for lunch and twice for dinner/drinks and it is so good every time. If you are in the manayunk area, this is a solid spot that exceeds expectations. Atmosphere: 5 stars - There is a great patio outside in the summer time, I have never sat out here but it looks nice and spacious. My favorite though is the 2 level restaurant, very cool vibe with good lighting and cool art. Food/drink: 5 stars - I've tried the couch club sandwich, the ricotta gnocchi and the coach tony pizza. Everything is great, and fresh. I have a hard time figuring out my favorite but the pizza is top notch. They have a good beer list and the drafts are good quality. Service: 5 stars - All of the staff is super friendly, both in the cafe and the bistro upstairs. Our waiter was patient and actually put me on the coach Tony pizza, great recommendation. This is a manayunk staple, I'll be back soon.

I put in a catering order on Friday for Saturday, and turns out there was some miscommunication and I had to call first thing when they opened on Saturday to change quite a bit of the order last minute. The manager David was EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating and made the changes a breeze, even though everything was last minute and they did not have to help me out on account of me messing up! I was so pleased and impressed by the customer service and the food was delicious! I will definitely be using Couch Tomato in the future and letting my friends and colleagues know to come here! Thank you!
