We eat at Dandelion quite frankly with groups when working in Philadelphia. Service is quite good, food very consistent and excellent quality. We really enjoy the atmosphere and different seating spaces to accommodate groups of 5-8 people.
We ate here twice on a recent trip to Philly. The bar/pub area is where we sat both times. Great vibe. Great service from both bartenders Friday and Saturday nights and our server Dante ! The food is amazing. Fish and chips are outstanding. Crisp not greasy at all - cod super fresh! We also had the dandelion salad which was perfect. The second night we had the tandoori chicken which is just simply amazing. Tender and a perfectly flavored blend of Indian spices with a dash of English...
The Dandelion is a British Gastropub in Philadelphia, offering a cozy old world atmosphere with fire rooms and traditional fair. The menu features Classics like Beer Battered Fish and Chips, Cumberland Sausages with mashed potatoes and Rabbit Pie. It’s a great spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner, with rotating craft beers and a Sunday Roast.

I had the Roasted Trout Filet and Welsh Rarebit. Welsh Rarebit was beautiful with a touch of mustard.
