We had a large party for brunch and were seated on the level where the hostess greets you. Everyone in our party, young and old, had to eat with our winter coats on, which did not make for a pleasant experience, especially for my 88 year-old mother. The draft coming in from the entry door was frigid and constant because of people coming in and out all the time. The food was decent and our server was very nice. However, our experience was disappointing due to the frigid atmosphere.
The Dandelion is one of my favorite escapes. It's like stepping back in time, or walking into a London gastro pub. It's charming, cozy, and the staff are always kind and attentive. The food and drinks are always excellent. I consider the Dandelion my happy place.
It's a great little English pub so the vibe is good but the food was so subpar there's just no description for how bad it was. The food was so salty we really couldn't eat some of it and outside of the salt it was super bland So we didn't even eat our meal.
