We ate here while we were in the museum. It was just what we needed for a quick lunch for our toddler and ourselves. We got a delicious panini, chicken tenders, and Mac n cheese.

The Eatery is located inside the Franklin Institute. They are only open 11am-3pm during the week. The food is ok. I've had the cheese steak, the cheeseburger, and fries in the two different times I was there. The sandwiches were just alright. The fries were actually pretty good. With the employee discount (Im the elevator Mechanic for the institute) a sandwich and fries came to 16.42$. Normally it would have been 24$. If you have to eat there it's not bad but if you can leave to eat I would suggest hitting one of the other spots around that area.

I'm from out of state. Nice little place in the The Franklin Insitute. Hot and cold foods: grill, soup, salads, pizza, fruit, etc. Drink coolers with a variety of choices.

The food quality is below elementary school quality, but prices will mimic a theme park pricing model. The special was a panini sandwich and the employee who made it, had no idea what a panini even was. I went with the chicken tenders and they were very stale. French fries were the only decent item. If your in a pinch and have to eat here, stick to some of the pre made stuff, otherwise, just eat before

The perfect place to explore

First, the food was alright, however you can’t customize anything. Also, there are <5 alternatives for vegetarians and other people with allergies. But worst of all, was the customer service. I asked for a salad, and when I changed my mind, the lady working was nothing but terrible. She was rude, and verbally disrespected me. Truly a disappointing end to a disappointing restaurant.

Just visited the Franklin Institute with my twin 4 1/2 year-old grandsons. We had a great day however I have to say that most areas at the Franklin Institute are very loud and echoey and all that noise just makes the kids more hyper which I didn’t appreciate. Anything that could be done to improve the acoustics would be much appreciated. I would not recommend the Franklin Institute for kids that are sensitive to sound.

We were all very dissapointed with this place. the website really talks it up but half the exhibits weren't there or werent open! the staff were not very helpful either. on the other hand the planetarium show was really cool!!!!

Great place to eat while visiting the Franklin Institute. We had their fries and chicken tenders. The Macaroni wasn’t the best flavor but still ok. There is limited seating on a busy day. We were here Good Friday in which it was full. Fast checkout. Just grab, pay, and find a seat. Great customer service as well.

Parking: Parking along the street is rare to find. The garage fits more but height is limited.
