Amazing ice cream shop, but if you’re going to get “just a scoop of ice cream,” I wouldn’t bother. The ice cream here is good, but not nearly as strong on its own. Get a sundae, a milkshake, or a float with homemade soda. My fave sundaes that I’ve tried are Franklin Mint (I order all mint ice cream scoops and no vanilla), Stock Market Crunch, and Banana Split for My Baby. I can confidently say this is the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted! Each scoop was a delightful experience. Plus, the vintage interiors added such a charming touch to the atmosphere—what a perfect blend of flavor and ambiance!

I had Franklin Fountain ice cream for the first time last night. I loved it. Thick ice cream with real real fruit or pastries in the ice cream. Very generous portion sizes.
I had the caramelized banana and choclate fudge brownie. Next time I am going to get a root beer float.
