Duck is delicious. I was enjoying the music playlist. Had a reservation and highly recommend one. I had the chicken special, didn’t love it but that’s just about me rather than the food quality.
It can get loud in here. Clean but dark bathrooms.
Easy to get to via the BSL

The servers added multiple extra dishes to our bill that we did not order. When we pointed it out, magically everything got corrected. Just check out your bill before paying. I have never seen something happen like this before
I wish I could give your establishment negative stars to portray the manner in which I have been dealt with personally. Your management, namely Vince. 😅
I have proof of the utmost disrespect. This is 2024. Please grow up. This man attacked my character upon meeting me for 3 seconds.
First-time visit. I had an appetizer of fried oysters and a salad. The oysters were truly excellent. Could have ordered 2 servings and that would have been a very tasty meal. Happy Hour is odd, to me, as it is only martinis or sparkling wine. Server was very pleasant and went out of her way to get me some info about the wine I was having.

Very nice, little intimate French restaurant. The cheese board and escargot 🐌 were delicious. The fries were VERY salty and some were inedible because of the amount of salt 😖 Our server was very nice and the restaurant had a nice vibe to it!! Will definitely add this to the rotation

The food was good. The steak was cooked just as ordered. The atmosphere was perfect. Service was ok. The staff seemed busier than the volume of patrons, but overall it was good.
Vegetarian options: I had the tomato salad. Sorry for not knowing the name, but my French is nonexistent. It was exactly what was described.
Dietary restrictions: I was asked, but none were necessary.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available.

Love the place. Chick pea 'flatbread' is awesome, crispy and soft at the same time. Burger is perfect, lamb was phenomenal

Food excellent. Service was pleasant and accommodating. Bathrooms look good, love the reno. The credit card fee is just tacky at this point.

Came on a rainy summer night looking for a new french retreat, but had to rate my individual experience as 3/5 due to a stressful service aspect.
First, the positives. I enjoyed the balance and taste of the speciality cocktail and french 75. Our server was a bit busy, but very friendly and knowledgeable on the portion, make, and popularity of several dishes. Beautiful decor in a private, snug setting. The veggie dishes were delicious.
Food was a 4/5 all around. The beef tartare lacked depth of flavor and was confusingly paired with fries, not bread (no egg yolk either). The fries were crispy but were under salted/seasoned.
The 3 out of 5 mostly comes from our service experience. I booked a same day reservation for three people to celebrate my birthday. NOTE: the reservation requires $25 hold per person. 10 minutes after booking the reservation, we realized we might not make the original time. I called the restaurant and was put on hold for an extended time. I hung up and called back immediately thinking I might have just been forgotten. But after the first call, every other call went to voicemail. The restaurant has a 15-minute grace period, but I called around seven times in the hour before dinner, incredibly stressed that our reservation might be released at a $75 charge. We made it just within the grace period. I mentioned to the staff that the line was disconnected but they seemed disinterested.

Overrated. Food was very salty. I’ve had better mussels and steak frites at other places. Also, its very overpriced for what you get. Service is also slow. Drinks and atmosphere were nice. Not worth it.

Very loud. Food not bad. Suze drink is very intense—not for most. Not a lot of vegetarian options. Quite expensive.
Vegetarian options: Delicious cheese ball salad (with 3 cheese balls) or eggplant sandwich. Those were the veg options for dinner.

Unfortunately had a poor experience this past Saturday at Good King. While we’ve always entered from the side door in the past, when we did so this time we were met with a disgusted look and tone by one of the waitresses of why aren’t we checking in up front? That set a bad tone to the start of service.
Food and drinks were really great as usual however almost 2 hours after returning home from dinner, I got food poisoning - I had pomme frites, socca & shrimp croquettes. So quite literally set a bad taste in my mouth from start to finish with this recent trip. I sadly do not think I will be back.
