The Hart of Catering & Cafe

My wife and I used The Hart of Catering recently for our rehearsal dinner for ~30 people. The food was excellent. Multiple people told us afterward how much they liked everything, too. The staff did a great job organizing and setting up for the dinner as well. On top of the food, Tiffany was incredibly helpful from the beginning when we reached out for a quote up until when we were finalizing the count a couple weeks before the dinner. She answered all our questions and was easy to work with throughout.

I ordered a Classic BLT sandwich to-go, unfortunately there was hardly any lettuce. One leaf on the entire sandwich was just utterly disappointing. I'm still hungry and the sandwich was mostly bread. I wish I could get a return.

The Hart of Catering & Cafe definitely have a Hart of gold.

Wanted to try the cafe I was disappointed in the flavors. The seasoning seemed off.

We had an order delivered to my office and the chicken was rubbery overcooked and inedible.

Needed a quick Bite. Just Average.

We gave them a shot based on some of the positive reviews but were disappointed in the food and service.

The Hart of Catering & Cafe in center city Philadelphia is absolutely outstanding because of the amazing team, service, menu, tremendous good and drinks. The Chicken Parm sandwich with homemade salt & vinegar chips is outstanding, absolutely a homerun and a Superbowl Championship esk sandwich to try. Their breakfast options are absolutely superb and all of the menu items are absolutely incredible combined with great ambiance and an outstanding team.

Great little spot with excellent brunch offerings and refreshing coffee- will be back before we leave town!

We attended an event catered by Hart of Catering at Platform 30. The service seemed disorganized and frantic. While the food seemed like it was from a big box store, it was not as sophisticated as what we were expecting. Beautiful venue, but the food did not measure up.

AMAZING!!!!! We used hart of catering for our wedding and it was the best decision ever!!!!! Everyone was raving about how good the food was, the coordination was perfect, the staff was so friendly from bartenders to servers!!!!! 10/10 couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our special day!!!!

I have had their food at the café and its not as advertised now more undercooked food in the café they run at the pool. I do not recommend them.

Unfortunately, my experience with The Hart of Catering & Cafe was disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, and staff seemed disorganized and uninterested. I had high hopes based on the reviews, but the lack of attention to customer needs really stood out. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I called Kevin in a panic when I couldn't get in touch with my caterer. I told him I needed a back up plan for a party. He was amazing, he put together a menu, pricing, etc in less than 24 hours. He was accessible and also transparent in how things would work. His food is delicious and plentiful. He is responsible and extremely organized. I would highly recommend!
