I Love this Establishment. The varieties and prices Can't Be Beat. Tons of hebs and spices, nuts and seeds, chocolate, candy, coffees and Teas. Soooo many hot sauces, soy sauces etc. Beats Going To The Grocery Store. Thank you for reflavoring my thrill for cooking.
The Head Nut is a go-to store for dried herbs and spices, as well as assorted nuts, snacks, coffee, tea, etc. I have not found a better source in Philly for spices. Their turnover seems to assure fresh product, though if your timing is poor you may get the last of an item and might notice it shows its age. That said, The Head Nut is a regular stop for us.
The head nut is tiny and tight, but it's because they have such a selection! It is a must see/visit if you're a foodie, coffee or tea person! Great selection of jellies, jams, and old school candies and snacks. They have 2 locations, Ardmore, Pa and Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia.
