This bar is goated with the sauce. My favorite Korean food in the city and great vibes overall

I stopped by to watch the Eagles game last week. Unfortunately, the bar was almost empty, and the heater wasn’t working well. It was 24 degrees outside and felt like 32 degrees inside. I couldn’t bring myself to order another beer because I was already freezing. I’m not someone who gets cold easily, but damn! 🥶
On the bright side, the bartender was super cool (he said he’s new). He let me sample a couple of beers before I picked one. I really like the bar’s vibe—the low lighting and moody atmosphere make it feel like you’re in a Weeknd music video.
Bartender even looked out for me on beer, so I will definitely be going back, because I go where I am appreciated, not tolerated.
S/O to the bartender. 🫡

food is great. drinks somewhat okay in price. service is always, and i mean ALWAYS rude and inconsiderate. as someone who also works in food and beverage, i would never consider their behavior acceptable.

I have tried many times to love this bar. As a local the first time I came and Brian was at the bar I had a great time and thought I had found my new spot. However, every time I have gone since the service and experience have been abysmal. Staff, particularly the brown haired mustached bartender have ignored me while pouring themselves or girls they are hitting on drinks, shot me dirty looks for asking for food, and have charged me for more drinks than I ordered then offered rude remarks when I have requested to be charged correctly. I have been over a dozen times and have tired very hard but I can no longer in good conscience recommend this bar. It’s a shame considering that the bar has so much potential if only it was staffed with professional and friendly people.

This place is extremely unprofessional. I have witnessed the male bartenders behave inappropriately toward women in the establishment and i have never had a good experience here.

Good luck trying to get ahold of this place. Every phone number online goes to Good Hatch, which is the attached breakfast cafe. Their website menu is different than their Toast/Google Maps menu, so who knows what’s available. It’s like they’re trying to avoid taking orders.

Food is amazing. Nasi goreng is perfect! But people who work there are rude and not very knowledgeable. They cannot answer a single question about food itself, ordering online, paying online. They just don’t want you to be there and to every question they say “I don’t know”

I almost instantly fell in love with this bar. The vibe of the place made me feel like this would be my regular spot if I lived here. Save it was the subway tile, but I felt like I was in a NY basement bar even if we were underground. Probably had something to do with their house special gin drink the Pink. Kind of like a negroni with grapefruit, I downed a couple of these and forgot I was trying to make it to one more bar and the wu tang wall. Got there late so the kitchen was closed. Bartenders were cool, and while too dark for me, I saw someone reading their kindle. It was a good choice to end my night here.
