First time visiting the establishment even after reading the reviews I still went because I had a taste for oxtails. The greeting from The Young Lady was I can't even describe it It was just bland someone else made a statement if you're not Jamaican you don't get that warm welcome. so I ordered the oxtails with the white rice and macaroni and cheese and then a side of cabbage which was white😳 no seasoning. The macaroni and cheese was a clump of pasta no seasoning barely any cheese except for on top of the dish that they served me from no spice no seasoning but a very good portion but it's not worth it if you don't have the flavor that you're looking for I gave it a chance Not 4 Me.

Ordered food for delivery. Food arrived cold. Side of Mac and cheese was missing so I only received rice and peas and a bunch of mushy (fat) and bone from the oxtail and way to much sauce , It was also too spicy I couldn’t eat it and My dog wouldn’t even eat it so that was $30 in the trash . That was my first and last time ever ordering from this restaurant . If u want good Jamaican food in the area go to ( Jeans kitchen ) order a large oxtail platter with rice and peas Mac n cheese and green beans. You’re gonna want a large because they are so good and very professional .

Authentic and delicious Jamaican food. The curry goat is delicious and the oxtail melt in your mouth, complimented by perfectly cooked rice, and delicious cabbage. The service is friendly and fast and the portions are very good. This restaurant is well worth the trip and the money.

If I could give no stars I would. When I want carribean, this place won't ever cross my mind again. Everything is just SPICY. How do you enjoy a meal when all you taste is how HOT the main is? The meat is too tough for the fork to separate from the bone, the mac taste like pasta and cream cheese and is DRY, the rice and peas was dry, the veggies were the only thing that was any good. At All Star Carribean on Maple avenue, the jerk chicken is WAY better. Less bone chips in the meat, chicken falls off the bone it's juicy, their jerk sauce is better, cabbage better, rice and peas/beans better, and the Mac is better too. Same for scotch bonnet theyre just a bit more pricey. All Star and Scotch Bonnet.... or I dont get carribean. I would eat leftovers from the other two before i got a fresh platter here. This spot doesn't even deserve a mention. Smh.

My friends and I have been going to this amazing place for many years. Food is very tasty, delicious and reasonably priced!

Best oxtails I’ve ever had, none compares!

Not very welcoming To Non/Jamaicans from what i noticed the dozen or so times ive gone.Stopped going for about 2 yrs.went today & was reminded why i stop going .Too much scotch bonnet.cant even enjoy the meal or give my kid a taste.no flavor whatsoever.i was suddenly reminded why i stopped going.2 stars was generous.

I am Barbadian and Puerto Rican so I eat Caribbean food very often and I have to say this restaurant serves Great food! I eat here often and never had any bad experiences with the food. However it would be nice if the staff there was more welcoming everyone seems like they don’t want to be there.

Food is delicious especially their OXTAILS greatly seasoned.Highly recommend

So disappointed in my food today. This use to be my favorite place. The customer service was also terrible.the cashier had an attitude. The Mac and cheese was terrible. It was Mac no cheese no flavor. The oxtails were tough and not tender. The food is too expensive to walk away with spending $60 with food you can't eat. I will never go back.

The Mac and cheese was not Mac and cheese it was just noodles, no salt no taste. Disgusting . Do not recommend jerk chicken was ok 2 stars .

Oxtail plate was excellent. They don't upcharge to substitute veggies for rice or to have Mac and cheese as a side. However, jerk pork was somewhat dry. Here, you have to find the dish that you like and you will be very happy. And you'll definitely find a dish you like.
