Saw this place on ig said when I came to visit home I would try it. Overall I won’t be returning. The atmosphere was good, music on point. Everyone was nice and polite but seemed to not know what they were doing. Food took about an hour to come out my mash potatoes and lamb chops were Luke warm but good asparagus were good even though I only had 5 really little ones. I feel like the plate size was not worth the money I spent. My husband literally had 3 small pieces of broccoli that taste like it was cooked in the pan with the asparagus. They don’t have non alcoholic drinks besides juice and water and the waiter never came back to get our drink orders but whatever. I’m just disappointed.

I typically refrain from writing reviews, as I aim to support black-owned businesses. However, after visiting this establishment with my coworker on 4/9, I feel compelled to share our experience. The place shows promising potential, and we had heard rave reviews about the food, music, and hookah offerings. Here's the rundown: the food is undeniably delicious, particularly the egg rolls and Alfredo dishes, but be prepared for a considerable wait time. While the servers are friendly, service is slow, with waits of at least an hour for drinks or food unless you actively remind them of your presence. Hookah charges range from $32 to $40 and are billed separately. Our visit lasted from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Unfortunately, the owner greeted me with a sour attitude when I attempted to engage in conversation. Despite my intention to offer constructive feedback, she dismissed me, citing being caught off guard after waking up in her car. I emphasized the service's strengths and shortcomings, but she showed little interest, opting to chat with friends at a nearby table about my feedback I gave her as if I was just complaining . It pains me to have to relay this experience, but I feel obligated to provide an honest assessment. If you prioritize good food and are willing to overlook service issues, this establishment may suit your needs. However, brace yourself for potential delays and the need to advocate for better service. My disappointment stems from expecting more from a fellow black entrepreneur.

It took 10 min for a waitress to come and take our order. Drinks took 30min to come and the place wasn’t even packed. I should have read the reviews before coming. I was really disappointed. I will not be coming back.

Service and atmosphere were great, we were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived, the DJ was cool for the mood .. the food and drinks were bomb, however I don’t think my brunch should’ve cost $30 by itself .. pic posted .. the breakdown of the receipt said my home fries were $10 ??? and the sausage was $7 ? … oh and the lemon drop was strong (watch for the top shelf fee?) .... but I’ve still got room for review since we sat at the bar and didn’t really see what the back looked like .. oh and there’s an automatic 18% service fee (not gratuity) on the checks as well. I didn’t see it on the hookah receipt but it was on the food and drink receipts.Parking: Street parking, timed, not metered.

DONT COME HERE. Came here after visiting Philly for a birthday weekend. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, ever. The place was literally dirty, they had all these unnecessary rules & the music was so loud I couldn't hear people right next to me. The decor was terrible..... the table wasn't clean & the glasses were dirty. we were told everyone in our party had to do bottomless mimosas if we wanted that (which is ridiculous) I told the bartender a few people didn't drink in our party & she said she would work with us, yet we was still charged for an extra bottomless mimosa. after all the back & fourth with the bartender & waitress about their drink policies I was at least hoping we would have a better experience with the food, but I was wrong. Our food came out little by little, and half of the orders just never came at all. One person in our party actually never received her order AT ALL. Our waitress clearly made some mistakes but she at least tried to make things right by still giving the missing food and comping us for it as well. Maybe if they turned the music down a little she would've been able to hear us better when taking our orders. They had three separate bills for hookah, food and drinks which I've never seen & an automatic 18% gratuity which they didn't even deserve. Lastly the "boss" came to talk to us after we pointed out to the bartender that we were charged incorrectly for the mimosas. She was RUDE and very aggressive with us. Blamed the issues on "miscommunications" instead of apologizing and keeping it moving. I'll never come back here and will never recommend anyone to come to this place. SUPER GHETTO & DIRTY. I try to support black owner businesses but we as a people have to do better.

We entered and when we saw security had a gun and a taser and had to look through our bags we decided to leave. Tight and cramped and not the vibe we were looking for. Disappointed because the food looks good
