The Lucky Well - University City

I wanted to like it, but I didn’t enjoy my order. I felt bad saying it to the girl behind the bar. My husband did enjoy his order and he like the spicy bbq sauce. It’s a cute spot - some street parking. I don’t think I’ll be back.

So much food for 40 bucks, pizza, tater tots, cornbread, and coleslaw. The pizza was delicious and the tater tots were amazing. So much for carb counting ?. Space was nice and service was pleasant.

Visited with a group of friends expecting a good meal, but was totally blown away by the food, ambiance, and service! Super friendly and my new go-to spot for friends and family. The burnt end cheesesteak is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Incredible, every bite. These guys are magicians. I'm a huge fan of their Spring Garden location so was double excited to try the new University City place. Not only is the bbq amazing, but the pairing with perfectly executed pizza took it to another level. Try the bbq, pizza, wings, and the burnt ends cheesesteak. Also if they are running the chopped cheese don't miss it!

Pork belly burnt end cheesesteak, wings, ribs, smothered tots, and BBQ PIZZA - it sounds cliche and like a huge exaggeration , but everything I’ve tried here for both dine in and takeout give me “best I’ve ever had vibes.” Don’t sleep on this place.

I rarely leave reviews for restaurants but my boyfriend and I just had takeout from here and it was INCREDIBLE. First, the portions were indeed generous and the ribs were absolutely amazing. They were so tender and fell right off the bone. The beans were some of the best that we’ve had in the city and the mac & cheese did not disappoint. Not only was the food overall really good - it was also beautifully and neatly packaged. We also ordered the University City burger but we were too full to eat it. Judging by the looks of it I’m sure it won’t disappoint. We look forward to dining in. Highly recommend!

Wonderful ribs, so tender!

Concerned about set up for out door dining. Great job.! Distancing, table spacing, staff, sporks to Cindy and had to compliment how safety was assured. We will be back
