This is a wonderful venue to enjoy live music!! Be sure to check their online calendar their openings can be variable. The atmosphere is cosy, the drinks reasonable and most of the customers are musicians 🎶
Despite being a little run-down, the Mermaid is understandably well-loved for its historic building retaining much of its architectural detail & charm. The colonial era inn claims the finely-detailed rich brown wood bar is original.We visited for the first time to see the final performance of the fantastic groove-band the Sacred Cowboys. Great band & fans! Large, supportive crowd!We didn't eat, but the bar staff was efficient & friendly.
A hidden treasure. Great listening room for music of all styles in a colonial era building. The bar itself could be in a museum, built of teak wood. A great gathering place for everyone. Love this place.
